i think oscar waited too long to accept the fight. while pbf has gotten better, oscar has gotten older. perhaps he did it on purpose. that way he can say well i was not in my prime. its a shame that these 2 are not in thier prime at the same time. oscar always had handspeed but not quite like pbf. i honestly don't like either fighter but i do recognize thier greatness in the ring. oscar will have the power speed advantage. but pbf will have the over all handspeed advantage. pbf is also more elusive. however i think oscar is the smarter fighter. i'm not sure how good this bout will be but it would have been an awesome fight if they were both in thier prime.

I pay the 49.95 for the fight, but I still think it's going to be one sided. Mayweather is in his prime and ODLH isnt.

Please dude..you are pathetic...and need some mayour history lesson in boxing...
considering this is one of the biggest fights in the history of the sport, then yea, it IS the biggest of ur lifetime...

and if u lived through all those fights, ur in ur 40's and if ur in ur 40's u should definetly start acting ur age... damn!

How could you NOT be excited for this fight. it doesnt make any sense.

Good or bad this is a VERY interesting fight and its gonna answer like a million questions that every fan has.

And, i think it'll be a great fight. Not a war or anything, but nobody is expecting it to be.

If DLH is afraid he'll tire late, he'll press the action early. thats how DLH works. First few rounds should be great

Name a fight that will make more $ then this fight? You won't find one. People are not saying that it will be the best fight but it will be the BIGGEST and it will be good for boxing, if Oscar wins he can continue and still be a money making machine for the sport. If Mayweather wins, De La Hoya can pass the torch.

Tito v. ODLH was the highest grossing non heavyweight fight in history...and this is 2 gret boxers at their prime....

By the way, PPV buys doesn't dictate by any stretch of the imagination if the fight is one of the best ever.....please....2 different things totally...again I reference Tito v. ODLH ...was not a gret fight....and it didn;t live to the hip

HAHA. for someone who thinks Cotto could take out Mayweather... u sure talk a lot.

U really dont know much about the sport or its history, im willing to bet.

Me, along with at LEAST a dozen others on this site, know a lot more about boxing and if ur gonna say u know more, maybe you should go back and edit some of the hilarity found in ur rediculous posts. lol

This could the be the highest grossing boxing match ever. This could have the highest PPV buys ever. even over the heavyweights. This could, and most likely will, but the biggest boxing match ever! Not the most popular, not the greatest, but the biggest and highest grossing
