Do you mean if Taylor said he was not going to fight Joe? I know I'd be on Taylor for that but you could be right about some fans. I'm not sure on that one though. I get the feeling if Taylor said 'Calzaghe is not on my level so I don't think it's a go' that people would he upset at Taylor.

I'm just thinking of people who say Taylor's not green and stuff like that.

I know it happens the other way as well... you get people who think Hatton's **** is a love totem and so on.

I don't really give a **** either way, I just wanna talk boxing without all the "Euro f.ags" talk on the daily.

Ideally, I'd like to see Joe and Taylor go at it but as long as they fight credible people instead it's fine with me. Joe has a long list to choose from so he needs to pick a card, any card.

I disagree with you mate, if Taylor said such a thing everyone would've been hating on him, you forget Taylor is not very liked.

Calzaghe is a poser. He starts to see how Taylor could whoop his ass and now he's backing off.

Joe should fight Kessler, Hopkins or Taylor next but his next fight is in April against Manfredo from the Contender TV reality show and it looks like he's not planning to fight Kessler or Taylor after Manfredo.

I think Joe should've fought Kessler by now, he fought Bika and now Manfredo in April, this is the biggest fight at 168, I respect Kessler because he trying everything to make this fight happen, but it looks like Joe will never fight Kessler!

Maybe I've been reading the wrong posts.

As for your sig, I still say that if Joe Blow hadn't fought Lacy, then Kessler would be talked about on here as "just another in a long line of Euro bums that Calf.aggy has fought." But because Blow has got a name (and Kessler hasn't) he's "ducking" him.

Why would the guy turn down loads of $$$$$ this year to fight a guy the level of which he's been fighting forever?

Taylor didn't show anything vs Ouma that should make Joe scared. Ouma is a very good fighter though and will be champ at 154 more than likely.

Kessler has the WBA and WBC belts, he's no bum, Joe is hanging on to his WBO belt forever, this is the bigget fight at 168 and I don't care if its between to Europeans.

Kessler is trying to make this fight and Joe is not, Kessler will get respected more and more by Americans each following day because he wants to make the best fight at 168, unlike Joe.

                      I partly agree, I partly don't.

I agree for all the reasons you've said... but I also disagree because belts aside Kessler is really no different from most of the opponents Joe has fought all his career. He still MIGHT fight him in the future. But while I'd like to see it as well, I can understand him milking this opportunity to cash in on HBO.
