Calzaghe No Longer Sure About Taylor Bout

Probably just a ploy by Joe to wind Taylor up. Taylor has been very quiet recently concerning a bout with Calzaghe. Hardly mentioning his name anymore. But his is right. Taylor wont stand a chance against Joe. Hope Taylor is foolish enough to take the bait. I could do with an easy win against the bookies.

That doesn't make much sense. If he wanted to prod Taylor to fight he should say ‘Taylor is scared to fight cause he isn't ready’, not ‘I don't want to fight Taylor cause he isn't ready’. Otherwise he’s just giving Taylor an excuse ‘ya, I wanted to fight but Joe changed his mind’

of course, it might just be Calzaghe's way of forcing Taylor into a fight he isn't ready for - Taylor's promoter is the one who really doesn't seem keen on this fight in that article.

I know someone already pointed this out, but this is absolutly laughable.
He is claming Taylor isnt ready, although Taylor has faced better competition in his last 4 fights that Joe has in his entire career, yet it facing Peter Manfredo, who will be in his first world championship fight.
Oh, the hypocrisy.

The thing is though, have you seen any of his other fights apart from Lacy?? He must be trying to piss Taylor off to make him fight, and when they do Calzaghe will destroy him!

But....i do agree. ive got no idea why hes fighting Manfredo Jr but saying Taylor aint ready.Hopefully they'l fight next year anyway and well all get what we want.

I agree he calls out too many names but the only thing is he's got the skill to back it up. He can call Taylors or Hopkins or Winkys name cos if any of these fights were to happen in 2007 Calzaghe would just prove why hes the champion.

Who has he proved his skills against? A prospect like Lacy? Tell him to step up to an established fighter on neutral ground and show what he has. He hasn't proven anything to me or most American fans.

And people ask why British fighters get no respect when you got ******* like Calzaghe and Hatton calling names of fighters they never intend to fight...
