Do you hear yourself? Cotto would fight Margarito.. Arum would put them to fight. Margarito has his hands full with Williams. Cotto has medicore boxing skills? Torres only hurt Cotto because Cotto was fighting Torres fight. Margaritos punches are looping punches very predicatable. You sound like a nuthugger son. You accually think Margarito would win against Cotto,Mayweather,Williams or even Collazo? He probaly can excluding Mayweather but im pretty sure everyone i just named would box the **** out of him or maybe KO him. Think before you write cause you sound like Margarito is your husband or wife.. What ever sex you are.

I look at it like this, still havent seen either COtto or MArgarito fights from last nite. Even if Cotto is stronger at welter, he is still not stronger then margarito. Cotto is obviously the better skilled fighter by far. That being said, it could go either way, but i'd put my money on Tony. I belive Cotto could outbox him, but Margarito's work-rate is so high, he'd catch cotto eventually n Floor him. Both fighters defense isn't tha best, so they'd both get hit. i think TONY can take Cottos shots, and Cotto cant take Tony's.

4got 2 mention, Margarito was wobled, but never floored by a much larger and stronger fighter in SANTOS, so i doubt Cotto could KO Tony.(The Body shots could slow down TONY tho,)

Margarito is one of the few guys out there that has the style and power to beat Wright. To bad it'll never happen.

I have developed a fool proof system to determine the true welterweight champ.
              Margarito fights Williams
              Cotto fights Urkal(pointless)
              Baldomir fights Cintron
Winner of all those meets Emmanuel Augustus in a 24 round marathon bout. Here me out. Each round will alternate between boxing and dancing. Odd rounds will be boxing even rounds will be dancing. I think this is ****** not to do. So get out those contracts.

It seems that you're the one that's fooled. From a boxing fan & not a Cotto fan it defenitely looks like it wouldn't be a good night Margarito if her were to get in the ring with cotto. Wide looping innacurate punches he threw against clottey would not work well against Cotto. I see margarito easily getting caught with viocious body shot and straight right hands to the face all night.

I've always like antonio as a fighter but it wouldn't be a good night for him.

If I'm Bob Arum, I keep Margarito as far away from Cotto as possible.

If they go at it and Margarito catches them rib shots and is dismantled in 7 like I think, there is no money in any Margarito bout again.

Tony could win don't get me wrong, but those looping punches will get him countered all day. We talking about the Margarito we seen yesterday. Not the Margarito that KO'ed Gomez in one round or KO'ed Hercules kevelos or KO'ed Cintron. Put Quintana or Collazo in with Tony i bet he would get outboxed and stunned a couple of times. Tony has stamina but once those body shots kick in he ain't gonna have to much energy.
While watching this fight I was convinced that Tony would lose. He was doing his best but he ran into another case of styles make fights. It think anybondy would have trouble with Clottey if you pay close attention he was actually fighting like Winky Wright same tight ass defense. So to say that that Tony is bum because of his performance is just out right crazy.

Cotto was very impressive this weekend, but Quintana pulled a Oscar Delahoya. He just didn't show enough heart to me. He had all the skills to give cotto a helluva fight, but he folded from the power to the body. Margo doesn't have Quintana skills and he is taller. Cotto will probably be able to hurt him to the body and it looks like he gained more power with the added weight. But I beleive Margo will be able to hurt Cotto as well and probably knock him out in 10 or so simply because Cotto chin is lil suspect. If his chin holds up though, Margarito doesn't have a chance.
