LOl I kind of feel like this. I always felt both Klits picked their competition and were aided by alphabet soup, to find easy pickings. I compare this to Lewis, who turned down an easy mandatory against John RUiz... the only fighter in history who had a trainer, that threw more punches during a fight than he did (Stoney), to fight Michael Grant, who was perceived as being dangerous, until Lewis picked him apart.Comment

- -U credibility can't match the medical forensics, video, and Manny, Vitali, me and my buddy who cornered SugarShane early in his career.
I had the same reaction reviewing Ali/Big George the first time and Sho'nuff George confirmed in his book later.
Sad to see what happened to Bill Cosby after personal testimony of victims lacking forensics of Wlad, sadder still U would side with him while ignoring uncounted tens of millions of drugged and poisoned victims over history.
If U dunce cap fits, wear it and shout it it loud & proud!
Also if we are really specific... Brewster caught him a few good shots to the body, before he caught him good, when Vlad could have been compromised. Nothing spectacular though...
This sticks in my craw... Especially how the announcers were stating Vlad was getting tired before he was tired. Now... that could have been because of what happened before in the Purity fight... Just considering all angles here.
The odds jumping is also really su****ious. Something stinks.Comment

Well... I do think there is merit to the accusations, but Vlad looked very similar in the later stages of the Purity fight, don't you think?

To me Wlad looked like he was gassing as early as the end of the second round. He looked to be going all out from the opening bell. Any of us that have fought before knows what a toll that takes physically and psychologically when you can't get your guy out of there. I think the commentators saw the same thing....in my opinion. Hence why he changed his style and was more effective after this.
On the other hand one generally assumes a fighter can weather fatigue... Its a matter of degrees on this point imo. Brewster was constantly pursuing Vlad... that speaks to your point in the positive. Even though I think Queenie is partially right, not that Brewster did not hit Vlad at all! but I would say that Brewster was not hitting Vlad very much. Yet, brewster was coming straight at Vlad the entire fight.
Lol, speaking of experience, in this particular regard, I can remember fighting Sensei and he was very aggressive! YES it gets one really tired! You have no breathing room, and you use up so much energy... That could explain a lot. Interesting point: Purity cut the ring off very nicely against Vlad, this eventually caused fatigue. Brewster just came forward but Vlad could not punch his way out because brewster was relentless.Comment

21 yr old Wlad in his 12th fight for Puritty that year.
Being trained by Soviet AMA coaches with NO Pro experience. Doubt they even heard of Coetzee vs Weaver and Tate late rds much less seen the fight.
Roy screaming ring side to stop the fight for 4 rds, one more than the Olympics...ooooooh so grueling.
The analogue to this was Lewis/Rahman I, a literal walk in the park for Lewis in spite of schoolboy claims he didn't train.
Rahman offered zero resistance until (BooM).
A single punch unraveled him for the ten count everyone could see.
Nobody could see anything Brewster did.
But U but U saw stink, so now change them BigBoys and put down Ginsberg and Keroac sissy stuff. U BigBoys deserve better.Comment

Tell us again how Brewster never landed a clean shot!! 😆Comment

After a Wlad shot turned him southpaw, he landed a good straight left to the jaw that didn't budge Wlad.
Why U lie?Comment

I also went back and watched Wlad-Sanders. Wlad had the same motions of flopping around but didn't seem as exhausted. Of course that is probably because it was a much shorter fight.Comment
