Leonard would beat Floyd.. no doubt.

Not only would a prime Leonard have beaten him, but a prime De La Hoya, Mosley, Pacquiao and possibly Cotto would have beaten him also. I would argue that Oscar won that fight.

Floydcertainly didn't show that De La Hoya was beneath him lol. Again, people will talk in hushed tones about how Dawson was weight drained, and set up in his fight with Ward, but Ward made short work iof him either way. Floyd has never shown the ability to sail above the rest and depends on the judges.

May never fought anyone with the speed of Leonard, nor the power. It would be a mismatch.

i think 1979 SRL has a chance of knocking him out also, by this i mean a late ref stoppage. the best thing about this fight would have been seeing floyd's face when he realizes ray is faster than him and hits harder

while so called ''fight'' fans conjure up ways and reasons on how/why may loses to guys he will never fight, the hof will be rolling out the red carpet and probably dedicate an entire room for him.

                  hater~''meh. hof dont mean much.''
fight fan~''now tell that to every hofer thats in there ''

No, it means something because he's one of the best of his era. But the reason those elite all time greats are ranked as highly as they are was because they fought the best opponents at their best. They didn't avoid them or wait for them to get old, they fought them and beat most of them. At least Leonard fought Duran the first time with no waiting or tricks. He waited until the rematches for that. Hearns 1 and Benitez tops Mayweather's resume. I don't know why people get so defensive when questioning Floyd's resume. It's like when white guys ask about all the street crime they see on the news from other races or ask why divorce laws are almost completely against men in court and instead of trying to answer, just opt to call the questioner a racist or misogynist. Like when Bill Burr asked on stage and TV why there is such an epidemic of gold digging whores and then said "why did it suddenly get so quiet in here?" because he wasn't saying all women were, just wanted to know why some were like that. In Floyd's case, my guess would be he and his team felt he was more marketable if he kept his 0.

I say Leonard wins by UD or late stoppage. It's close early and Leonard either pulls away at the end or catches Floyd and moves in for the kill to get the late stoppage with Floyd on his feet.
