Seeing as how prime floyd is 135 and prime ray is 147, it's safe to say Prime Leonard wins, assuming the fight is 147.

Now if they fight in the middle, like 141, then Floyd wins IMO.

this is just a popularity contest and theyre never dependable

what about may vs srl below ww ?
I'd favor Floyd against SRL at lower weights because SRL would be anorexic at 135 or 140. Floyd, although short-lived at 140, was an ATG at 130 and strong cases could be made for 135 and 140.

      • Of course SRL would beat him. The great bigger man beats the great smaller man.

imho, the only advantage srl would have over may at ww is power. however, as we know, power wont get it done vs may. almost everyone hes fought at ww had more power than him.

its not really fair to have a skeletal version of srl fight may just as its not fair to match may vs srl at ww. however great may was at ww, it still wasnt his best weight and i think may takes it in a cw fight.

          • It comes down to discipline for me. One of these guys is naturally more disciplined than the other. Doesnt make mistakes in the ring.

Doesnt need to be "told" what to do. Doesnt need Angelo Dundee in his corner...doesnt need a corner at all.

I think that's why Bob Arum kept delaying the Pacquiao fight with Floyd, actually.
