Imagine if he got the official W's over Trinidad, Mosley, Mayweather, & avoided that bodyshot versus Hopkins.
Could argue he would have one of the greatest resumes ever.

No one is more halfwitted than those fans who still support Hoya's Arum-like actions in this affair. The world is loaded with blind halfwits. I just got through reading some of their so-called thoughts where they no less than condone Hoya's keeping a big fight from us until it is past its expiraration date. Why would anyone be fooled again and buy a fight whose expiration date says it is way past edible, as they did with Pac/May?

Hoya is now scum just as Arum was/is. These promoters could not get away with this garbage if fans united. Like American injuns, they are too dumb to see the advantage in numbers if they united and refused to sit still for mass manipulation by simply not buying these garbage fights in mass. That is the only cure. Believe me, there is no other. As long as you make them money, they will continue with their present habits.
        Agreed Lefty agreed

Your the second one to make that argument... Look! If I had the **** and ass of Racquel Welch at twenty, I would never leave the bedroom and play with **** to death...IF!! If I had an IQ of 50 I would post like Elroy...IF! If Slapsie Maxie had won 30 odd more times he would be undefeated...IF.

And if pigs could fly Bacon would be light fare!!!

If a boxing match lasted 6 rounds Oscar would be one of the greats...if.

i think he was a hell of a fighter and hof fighter I personally rate him above Mayweather purely on the fact alone that hes the last guy that really took on everyone in there prime he auctually wanted to fight the best and test himself , he did lose me a little when he straight out ran those later rounds against trinadad but he won me back the way he fought vargas , don't forget at lighter weights when he started he was lethal that left hand was amazing.

As fighter: Not great in the sense that Ray Leonard was great. A half step down from that. But really good.

Outside fighting: His promotional personality is so political, so hyped up, that he lacks credibility with everything he says. To the extreme. And this isn't helped by his more clownish behavior. He needs to get a grip.

I'll go with wins over Benitez, Duran, Hearns and Hagler. Oscar can't match that resume.
