I don't know if you are breaking balls or serious - whether or not you actually read the texts . . . But of course I am not taking wrestling seriously except to say this guy Shawn Michaels is a superb stuntman. One of the best I have witnessed.

That in itself is worth praise; while the promotions may be a joke this man delivers the product. I respect any actor who puts heart and soul and health at risk in his performance. Many don't, they just phone it in.

He deserves respect the way Jackie Chan does. I would never pay attention to the dialogue of his films but I love to watch the man move.

I think someone like Ali would know. especially considering Holyfield and Briggs faced an old fat Foreman and said it was the hardest they had ever been hit, and Ali - who faced a prime George as well is going off and saying Shavers hits harder. Although point should be made Foreman struggled to hit a mucher fitter version of Ali, shavers landed flush for the most part. I don't know how ali even took that blow. fights hard to watch. It's fights like that, that do serious damage.
      - - It was Foreman who ruined Ali enough to where Ernie could comfortably BTFO him.

I'd disagree with that ,I think what basically finished Ali was the Manila fight.Foreman shook Ali up a couple for times but Ali blocked a lot of those round house swings. Shavers didn't BTFO of Ali, nor did he ever pretend that he did, that's a load of manure. The officials and the press voted solidly for Ali.Ali fat and out of shape boxed 6rds in London soon after the Foreman fight,I was there, he made the British Champion look like a novice.

All of these men fought professionally and were all under 215lbs when I worked hand pads for them.
Ernie was heavy and hard, he hurt! Tyson used speed and explosiveness and Schmidt had a hard punch also with a huge fist that was very even across.

As far as power punching with speed and accuracy in both hands Sugar Ray Robinson was the best p4p.
          Ray.
The Hamden Hammer. He was a Fighter and a Karate black belt as I recall.

No he gave an exhibition against John L Gardner British champ ,and I think the other guy was Joe Awome. Ali wore a red rubber reducing top which he lifted up to show off his belly.

                - - Ali fought Joe thrice. He fought Norton thrice. He rematched Cooper, Liston, Quarry, Patterson, Chuvalo, Bugner, Leon.

He never entertained the lucrative Foreman rematch he is on record as ducking. I won't bore the forum by 'splainin' the self explanatory reason why.

None of which means Foreman laid a beating on him.

Why did Ali owe George a rematch to begin with? He let him beat on him and than he knocked him out. Now after George came back and put himself in position by beating Lyle and Frazier in '76 he earned a rematch. But than he took on Young, lost, retired and no rematch. Is that really Ali's fault? The man deserved to take some time after the who's who of heavyweights he fought from '73 thru '77.
