An interesting aside is that marciano had problems with Moore's speed in the early rounds of the fight. This would lend credability to the idea that Ali's speed would cause him problems.

Marciano never faced anyone with Ali's movement. I'd even lean towards a stoppage on cuts, swelling and bruises due to Ali's punches.
Its quite possible Marciano could drop Ali, steadily stalking and finding the right body shots but Ali will take Marciano out of the fight and light him up too often. Ali being the bigger man wouldn't be afraid to hold and lean either and Ali liked to paw/leave the jab out in front of his man's face obscuring their movement/vision which doesn't give the much shorter Marciano any help at all.Comment
