Your just another internet BSer who likes to challenge men by cussing and name calling knowing that if I were in front of you you'd wet yourself! Ray for somebody who claims to mean well, you sure do make a lot of enemies. Why do you suppose it is that nobody on this forum likes you? Everybody seems to be in agreement, and has developed a similar opinion of you.

I am neutral and do not pay much attention but in reading some of the posts in this thread, I am curious to see how you respond to that.

You constantly talk about respect, but you utterly disrespect everyone here with every single post you ever write.

You're also a major league bull**** artist. Some of the best men in boxing who I've trained under, actual world level, world champion trainers, are humble, real men. They would not only tell you to grow a pair of balls for acting like you do, but they'd also say anyone that talks **** like you is simply hiding the worst kind of insecurities about their nature and about boxing.

The thing you have to understand Ray is that people who are confident in themselves, their work and their knowledge never have to spend all day, every day telling anyone that will listen how superior they are, how much more they know than everyone, or feel the need to try and start e-fights on the Internet, talk **** to everyone all day, and they certainly don't act like a ****ing 12 year old histrionic girl the way you do. You're a joke mate. You'd get tossed out of every gym I've ever trained in acting like you do here.

The people who actually know what they are talking about are also doing it. Not sitting on their computer acting like ****heads on the Internet all day.

You know why you didn't make it as a trainer? It's precisely because you're a prick that thinks he knows it all.

      What a sad old ****.
      amen .

lkeamulekick; hahaha I wasn't that excitable in the corner. However I was booed in Italy for smacking Whimpy Halstead after the first round for not following my directions! hahaha I got showered with "whistling" (booing in Italy back then) I was a very calming influence in the corner. Only two suggestions given one on offense the other on defense as a general rule!

Carlos; look at the people who have a problem with me! Do I quote them and single them out? Do you ever see a post from another member reposted on my posts? Are the majority of the crybabies here long time posters who are used to having their comments accepted as gold?
I just stur the pot at times but mostly just speak my mind and I give FACTS not opinions. I was told for the first month on here that Mike Tyson was 5;11' to 6; foot tall. I stasted I met Tyson through D'Amato when Cus took him in and Tyson in bare feet was 5' 9" 5 months later theres some pics showing how tall he isn't. Thats just one little incident, theres alot more!
When your on a fan based boxing site you have a group of people that are fan a tics some are fanatics with their favorite boxers and the others are fan a tics of themselves on here! They actually think they know more about the sport than people who earned a living in it! I spent my live training and looking out for young mens best interests. I started in boxing in 1960 I retired from being active in 1987. I have run shows and coached for the USA amatuer teams. Was a Region One coach also, had world champions come to me for advise and fight preping. So to have a few rubbz who sit in the cheap seats or have never attained a live show complain about my demeanor by cussing and calling me names I know who they are. Wannabees their geeks on a keyboard whjo have dreamed up a persona in the boxing world except their reality is more like Disney World!
likeamule; the name Ring One was first used in 1967 in my New Haven Gym, it was used again for the "Hamden Youth Boxing Club" in Hamden Conn. The club started using the Yoiuth Club name but it was changed to "Ring One" the next year when the club had competitors fighting! The Hamden affiiliation stopped in 1985 and the Youth name was reused with my friend Gaspar Ortega (former welter contender) taking over the club. That year I gave all of my equipment to Brian Clarke and he has used the name Ring One (with my permission) ever since. Brian was a fighter in Ring One back in the early 80s and was my right hand man taking competitors to national events when I couldn't. He runs the program today and has produced national competitors in the amtuer ranks and a few pros most notably Chad Dawson! Thats it! Another testimony about me from me and I'm getting tired of it! So good night and those of you with wrinkled draws relax and breath. ha! Ray

Mid 90s and 1985 seem a bit off but that doesnt seem so bad. So you trained Walter Cevoli? I think that makes you legit then, still a nob though but no mention of any trainer for Walter Cevoli but i think ill give up, unless your a serial killer i doubt youd make this up

That's the sad part. The guys like this never realise that the one common denominator that runs through it all is themselves.

I have full respect for anyone who has accomplished what you've claimed to have accomplish. We really don't know if your historical anecdotes are authentic or not, though.

However, one thing I've found in common amongst the veterans of the fighting game - boxers, trainers, media alike... all of them love the so-called "fanatics", and wish there were more of them in boxing arenas across the globe.

No offense, but it's the "I've been in the game for eternity... I've forgotten more about boxing than you'll ever know" mentality that you seem to share with the likes of Bob Arum that's putting a lot of people off the boxing game.

I will never stop being a boxing junkie, but your condescing approach to conversation isn't good for these boards, nor, dare I say, the entire sport.

If you have a valid point to make, make it. You don't need to attack the other posters to do it. If you show enough insight consistently, people will stop doubbting that you are, indeed, a veteran of boxing who has a wealth of knowledge and experience. If you keep having to justify every post with "I was holding the pads while you were in Huggies", you're going to lose a lot of credibility.

You've been quoting and singling out Likeamulekick this whole thread.

Again, you're the one common thing that runs through nearly the whole board having a problem with you Ray.

What you seem to miss is that from the start people tried to treat you with respect but got a mouthful of petty abuse over nothing because you can't grasp that people talk and discuss with each other here, rather than just talk at them or to yourself, and some of the better e-fight offers I've seen around the place.

That's usually the best place to start to get respect and to show how legit you are. Offer to fight them.

One last thing Ray. Try to take this on face value. Just listen for this one sentence and don't take immediate offense. I'm saying this with respect.

The guys who seem to have a problem with you, basically anyone and everyone, rarely or never have that issue with anyone else here. We've had/have top world champion trainers, managers of world champions, top pros, etc all come through here and not a single one has acted like you and no one has ever disrespected them. You're the first 'trainer' here I've ever seen who can't seem to even have a simple, single conversation without abusing someone. Does that tell you nothing?

Or is just everyone else's fault again?
