Maybe Rocky hit harder P4P, but the notion of Tyson dreaming about having that kind of power sounds absurd. I'm hardly on the Tyson bandwagon. He is one of the most overrated fighters (especially his defense) ever because of his rabid fanbase. But it is very obvious that he could really hit. The Walcott KO comparison is conjecture at best. You can't prove that it was any harder than the punch that KO'd Botha (among many other Tyson one punch KO's). And I mean no disrepect to a great champion like Marciano. If he get halfway through the fight he has a great chance to beat Mike, imo.

sorry i thought you were booed for slapping the opponent. So you slapped your own guy lol, halstead himself must of had a bit of power coz he had quite a good ko ratio and quite a long career. Just watching him take on the Duke and he fights pretty smart and even got c.ocky at 1 point, he deserved a slap in the morrison fight, lots of rabbit punching. Curious why ive never seen that in tommy ko reels coz that was a great ko

Marciano beats Tyson early or late, there is no doubt about that. But to me it sounds as if you're basing Tyson's power on your own fantasies. The Marciano KO over Walcott was real and anybody with any knowledge of boxing knows that very well could have been the hardest punch ever thrown in the ring. When you say the Tyson KO over Botha could have been just is hard, that's a joke.

Once again, this is only conjecture on your part. Arrogance doesn't help make your case either.

Marciano was 185/190 max. You know what that makes him in Tysons world? A ***** ass. He will get GTFO like spinks did.

Most of Marcanio's best wins were over former light heavies who moved up, little men who even after their move up were under 200. Its a new era, Tyson flattens marcaino. The guy got dropped by way less fighters than Tyson.

I see a lot of back and forth arguing in this thread. If anyone needs some help you know where to find me. Im a world recognized underground street fighter with a near perfect record. Im a hired gun and dont take anything personal. Money talks.

Ray I see you got a lot of enemies. Im a better fighter than 90% of the guys you trained, but I fight in the streets not the ring. PM me if you need backup but I dont work for free.

Well how very condescending of you. That type of dismissive comment indicates that you are unable to debate the point convincingly. Don't think for a minute that I can't see your nasty little agenda against certain types of fighters. And that's as nice as I can put it.

I appreciate the gesture el*** however 90% of the fighters I worked with not under any contracts with me. I was more of a "hired factor" the boys would call for spar or specific work and I'd set that up for them. My fighters were my kids who started when they were 12 and 14 and fought in USA/ABF tourneys. I never pushed my kids into the pros, especailly the ones that didn't have exceptional power. To me the pro game is a power game just look at guys like Khan and Paulie. Both good enough boxer with good experience but they won't get by the guys with power!
I remember Tommy Hearns as a kid and he couldn't get over the top tier kids until he matured enough to gain some pop and then he flew by the guys that gave him trouble.
As for me, I grew up on 6 Corners in New Haven I'm very much at home outside the ring. As much as I love the sport their are rules to consider and the good ones know how to massage the rules!!!
likeamulekick; Whimpy became a terrific "traveling professional opponent" when he was a kid weighing 165 to 175 he grew up in the O'Grady gym and fought guys to build up his record. When he came to me he was 21-0 but he fought no one! His first year with me I'll guess he was 2-2-2 but he didn't fight stiffs, he found out exactly where he was at! Once he moved down the road he went back to O'Grady fought a few more marks then put on 35lbs and became a heavyweight!!! He had a very good right hand and jab but he learned he could get over as a "pro opponent"!!! He knows how to protect himself and also knows how not to "hurt anyone"! He can teach a green kid more in 5 rounds than the kid could learn in 3 months in a gym!
Getting robbed in Italy hurt him but when your on the road you need to knock em out!! He could have but the ref held him for 6 rounds hahahaha!!
