Exactly and just because you've boxed and trained boxers doesn't change the fact that you can't stand it whenever someone disagrees with you. If you're so convinced you're right, why not argue the point made in a post rather than just name calling and spouting off about who you worked with all the time. Provide some facts to back up your statements and arguments. You're human, just like the rest of us, which means you aren't going to be right all the time. You've also contradicted yourself and Scott here has pointed if out. Here's some statements you should learn:

    "You have a point there."
    "You're right, I was wrong."
"Sorry about that, I misunderstood what you said."

You talk an awful lot about respect without giving much of it. Those who want respect give respect. So show some respect to others here and you might get some in return, Ray. Anthony

Foreman and earnie shavers hit with STRENGTH foreman pushes too much, Tyson hits with true power or SNAP he has much better technique.

All the fighters said earnie hit the hardest but maybe earnies punches just FELT the hardest.

Tysons punches are clean and fast as hell, and I suspect they may be more powerful, I bet they dont FEEL as punishing especially to the body, but I bet they are more likely to put your lights out!

Remember a prime Tyson forman and shavers weighed around the same mark and Tyson was much faster than both of them put together and power in a punch is largely from speed, bodyweight being secondary to that.

I bet Tyson would turn out smokin joe fraiziers lights much faster than foreman did, forman was LIFTING HIM UP OFF HIS FEET etc that requires a PUSHY STRONG punch, a snappy punch would instantly turn their lights out and not look so dramatic.
Don't confuse being a better puncher with being a "harder hitter."

I am not sure about Shavers, he may well hit harder than Tyson, but I believe that Foreman definitely hit harder than Tyson.

Tyson is by far the best puncher of the three, and to me, he is the best puncher in heavyweight history. The speed, power, technique, snap, defense that preceded it, and the fact that he could do it with either hand are all reasons why I think he is.

I don't think he hit harder than George Foreman, though, even if he was a better puncher than Foreman.

Joe Louis was a better puncher than all of them, in my opinion.

Joe Louis did not have the movement, power or speed that Tyson had, and he also falls short when it comes to who was the better fighter with both hands - in watching Tyson it's hard to tell what is his dominant hand was. Both were equally devastating.

Joe Louis was a precise and accurate puncher but better than Tyson I don't think so.

tysons punches were more effective when he had momentum especially with the straight right hand, louis could punch allround perfectly face to face. Id say louis was the better puncher

I disagree with pretty much everything you said.

so he can throw a straight right hand better than louis just standing? most of his leaping left hooks and overhand rights where when he was moving forward and were very effective

Louis's punches looked impressive in those small gloves

But Tyson is the best modern puncher

ive seen foreman and tyson work out in there primes. harder hitter was foreman- maybe by a little - heavier hands forearms etc. but that is a maybe as he had slow hands and tyson had good technique, snap, plenty of speed, and was very strong little guy.. whoever hit harder it was certainly not by much. who was the better puncher- maybe foreman with that good jab. louis was the best puncher- most effective hitter i ever saw. i think maybe langford, fitz, dempsey pound for pound were hardest one punch hitters. baer maybe the hardest hitter along with louis and dempsey with two hands, ever.

I held the pads for Bob Fitzsimmons when he was training for his fight with Corbett. I believe he hits harder than anyone mentioned above.
