My first picks would be Douglas and Bowe. It seemed both guys had talent. I think they could have had longevity had they really cared and hadn't had a tendency to come in out-of-shape.

james toney, ray mercer, tim witherspoon are 3 off the top. i'd say rid**** bowe but he made so much quickly in his career his dedication eroded quickly as did his bank account...corrie sanders is another good choice. rahman has fought many big punchers but said he had never been hit like how he was hit by sanders even though he was knock out a couple of times by punches he never saw coming. he said every punch including his jab rattled him & he was able to get off the floor twice to beat him. sanders was so mismanaged & he never really was dedicated to the sport as his passion was golfing & he owned a big game farm in south africa. he had amazing hand speed & power & it was coming from a southpaw stance.Last edited by joe strong; 07-16-2012, 10:33 PM.

How about Andrew Golota? Or was that more a guy with mental issues? And if so, were there a lot of other boxers who were talented, but didn't go far enough because of mental issues as well?
