David Tua (that left hook and chin),
    Hasim Rahman (that power),
Rid**** Bowe (that double jab 1-2),
Ricardo Mayorga (got the toughness, heavy handed),
and even Mike Tyson (superior speed and technique but just had too much going on outside the ring to really dedicate himself to boxing).

Really? I wouldn't think so especially since he trained so hard and was always in shape to fight at a moments notice. I think what derailed him was his management, judges, and taking those fights without really knowing about the opponent.

ZAB JUDAH!!! IMO, if this dude had a stronger work ethic he;d be one of the greatest who ever did it. But when you skip out on training to go to a lil kim video shoot or the 40/40 club, well you know what happens.

            Wasted talent.

No, Emmanuel Augustus really did lack dedication. He failed at least one drug test and didn't show up for a lot fights. His in-ring actions weren't always focused which is why lost a million fights, a lot to lesser fighters. He didn't get jobbed every time.

I don't get the Hamed reference here. He lost ONE fight in his entire career which made him a multimillionaire. His one loss was to a future hall of famer who very possibly would have still beaten Hamed if he were in top shape. So it's not like he was an underachiever.

Yes but that one fight in the end defined his career.

If you watch the documentary i posted called ''little prince - big fight'' you can quite clearly see he was no where near dedicated for that fight as he should have been.

Absolutely no shame whatsoever in losing to a ATG like Barrera and Barrera may well have beaten Hamed at his best, however the fact remains that for his career defining fight, Hamed was nowhere near dedicated enough as he should have been in training camp.
