Granite chin, one-shot kill you power, killer instinct and great workrate + stamina. Very good speed with his left too.

If he'd been taught and brought along well, he would've been a phenom. Imagine if he knew how to set up a counter with his triple-left hook.

But instead, he didn't know how to deal with a jab, or movement...

Perhaps it's just because David was too nice a guy to be an elite knockout-artist. Although the way he forcibly married Ruiz and Moorer says otherwise

Imagine a Tua with a Louis jab, Frazier body-punching ability, and a prime Tyson killer instinct.. Scary thought!

Locche and Benitez immediately came to mind.

I've never really followed the heavyweights but I'd agree with Bowe and Douglass. Don't remember if Douglas ever successfully defended his title.

He didn't. He faced Holyfield in his first defense and came in looking like Shamu the whale.

The Man in my sig; Wilfred Benitez.

So much natural talent & ability, but no dedication.

Barely trained, partied alot, didn't take fights seriously.

And even with all of that, he's still one of the greatest defensive fighters of all time, the youngest champion in boxing history, he's an atg, arguably the greatest boricua fighter of all time, and should be mentioned in the same breath as the big 4 imo.

Imagine if he had reached his full potential *sigh*

Camacho also comes to mind. That uppercut that Chapo landed on him in their fight really ****ed him up lol.

Left him a shell shocked shadow of his former self.

i was going to say, there's nothing nice that would be said about the man if you went through the victims on his highlight reel

i thought he killed john ruiz
i was literally going to clear my schedule and go to the man's funeral in chelsea.
