    Post Prison Mike Tyson
    Big Daddy Bowe
Buster Douglas after he beat Tyson
David Tua on the Foreman diet

Sometimes Max Baer looked like he ran out of fcks to give, but i suppose that was just his personality.

James Toney also had a shortage of fcks to hand out.

Even though he's still fighting, Zab Judah should've done more.

I wouldn't say immense talent, but when Berbick tried he did decent work.

Gerry Cooney had a hard hitting ability, but i wouldn't say dedication threw him to the wayside. He was seemingly a bit naive after his Norton win to think he could handle Holmes.

Tommy Gunn if Balboa had given him his respect.

Some would say Camacho, but he did accomplish a decent amount for me to leave him off.

Grant got into boxing late and in most cases those guys never reach the top level. Sergio Martinez would be a recent exception. Grant was well managed in his prep fights and he was an outstanding athlete for a guy his size. But the Lewis fight both exposed him and destroyed him psychologically.

So I don't think it's a lack of dedication in his case. Grant always seemed well conditioned to me. Very classy person too.

But would you say Grant was "immensely" talented, like the thread title here? And I'm with you on Lewis exposing him and destroying him psychologically. As soon as Lewis landed that first big uppercut, it seemed to change him for the rest of that fight and his career apparently.

I meant he was athletically talented, which isn't the same as boxing talent. If Grant had started boxing as a kid, maybe then he would have been a top boxing talent.

Locche and Benitez were the two names that immediately came to mind.

              D. Curry's dedication fell apart shortly before the Honeyghan fight, and I don't think he ever was really hungry again after that huge loss.
