Amir Khan v Paul McCloskey was a terrible stoppage. After 6 rounds of not laying a glove on McCloskey, Khan head butted him and the fight was stopped before the corner even got a chance to look at the cut that wasn't even bad

From my observations, they often stop fights very quickly in the UK.

Often depends if the British fighter is hurt or his opponent.

Meldrick Taylor vs Julio Cesar Chavez.

Meldrick won that fight. No question.

Had he allowed the fight to go on even with only 2 seconds left after Meldrick either couldn't or wouldn't respond to his commands he would have robbed Chavez.
But as a result of the stoppage, I, and a lot of other fans, feel Steele robbed Taylor of a victory.

I understand that point and can sympathize, but had a allowed it to continue we'd be hearing about it from the other side. Kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation.

Only if Chavez had been able to land another punch we would've, which he most likely wouldn't have.

                    Tyson-Ruddock was bad.

I really did not think Chavez-Taylor was a bad stoppage. Taylor took a bad shot and was out of it. If the referee let him take one more shot it would have been the referee's fault if he was badly hurt.
