The trouble with you McCoy is that when evidence is put right in front of you you refuse to accept or even read the evidence... i have put up links to back-up every single claim i have ever made yet you have trashed every piece of evidence and not came up with a single shred of proof to prove anything i have posted as being incorrect
    From your link:

His strength was immense, though obviously enhanced by steroids, and for sheer impact I think he had the hardest right of all time.
So basically it's one guy claiming that Lewis was on steroids without offering any proof. That is not "well documented" evidence. It's not evidence full stop.

        I still cannot believe that!!!

        Its like saying.

I'm off to see the Loch Ness Monster, don't believe it exists, here's the evidence.

Ridiculous? Obviously because there is no evidence i.e. failed drug test, doctors opinion, coach's verbal statement...anything?

it was written by a highly respected Boxing Historian

so when the same historian wrote:

Historian Eric Jorgensen stated, “Greb may have been the greatest fighter, pound-for-pound, who ever lived.

you would that to be just one guys evidence so it cannot be accepted?

Lewis would have sued for libel because he sued on dozens of occasions for trivial things throughout his career.

again it is a case of not accepting the truth when it is right in front of your nose.

If this was anywhere near to being true then it would have been huge news.

            It wasn't was it?

Mike Casey...also wrote Bernard Hopkins: Not One of The Middleweight Elite and he is such big news that you can contact him on his yahoo account riviera918@yahoo.co.uk.

In other words he is a hack with an opinion and it is far from evidence or fact.

No police reports or positive tests, just the random thoughts of a crackpot historian quoted from ninjashoes dot net. Im trying my best not to laugh here.

Eric Jorgensen also has problems in warming to Lennox. “One wag wrote that Lewis was the only fighter he ever saw whose footwork got better when he was on ***** Street. I love that and it’s partially true. His strength was immense, though obviously enhanced by steroids, and for sheer impact I think he had the hardest right of all time.

^^^I love how your "source" says obviously without backing up his claim. Like you, he has no evidence whatsoever, just running his mouth.

I will say it again, it is impossible for a high-profile athlete like Lennox to be engaged in this stuff without popping up on a government list. Tommy Morrison and Evander Holyfield could not hide, and they were beloved by the public. A hated guy like Lennox would be crucified if he ever was suspected.

Bring forth a police report or a positive test, otherwise its all opinion.

That's about as flimsy of an excuse for evidence that I've ever seen. Lewis probably didn't sue because almost nobody saw it and the guy didn't have any money anyways.

I would hardly call that evidence. I think that these guys are giving Lennox a little too much credit, but calling one guy's unsourced post on ninjashoes.net evidence is really stretching the definition.

You doubters are so engrossed in your idolization of Lewis you cannot see the truth when it is right in front of you on a daily basis... you frequent this forum on a daily basis yet never think to check-out past news headlines.. here you go:

Stay updated with the latest boxing news, fight results, interviews, and rankings. Get real-time coverage of upcoming bouts, analysis, and exclusive insights from the world of boxing.

i could add almost every boxing website on the world wide web and that article has made front page news.

Vitali Klitschko a known steroid abuser fights out of Germany where they are not interested in drug testing.. Lennox Lewis boasted "he was a man without a country" yet what the really meaning of that was, England, Canada, Jamaica, USA, etc etc you will never pin me down to test me... just like Olympic sprinters Linford Christie and Paula Ratcliffe they live abroad for a reason.... try telling boxing fans that they never seen that or read it over the last decade is fooling yourself.

                      .
Is the "Close, but no cigar" all you have? Every single one of those links quote the same guy who provided no evidence whatsoever.

Google steroids with Holyfield and Klitschko you will find legit articles from major outlets like sports illustrated and the nytimes. Organizations that would get sued for publishing falsehoods.

All you have is heresay from boxing forums and crack pot historians.
Jorgensen is neither doctor nor law official and did not back up what he said.
