That didn't do Wlad any good. Lyle has the same reach as Lamon/Sanders and is a inch taller...Not to mention that he is much more skilled, has a much harder punch, and is one mean mother ****er

I agree, I had never thought of that before...Good point. Wlad's height is what kills him, he used to lean in chin first and got clocked. Vitali stands near stock straight up and leans backwards to avoid shots...never thought of that...

It would ensure his demise if anything, against a great pressure fighter anyway. A Great boxer puncher, or a great pressure fighter, those two I have concluded are the acid bath for Vitali. Lyle was a Great Boxer Puncher. His chin was hardly shaky, sure he got caught against Ali but was not seriously hurt and WAS ahead on scorecards by a bit. Easily a champion caliber fighter.

Where you people get that Lyle had a bad chin is beyond me. He was only down against Foreman and Shavers in his Prime, something only a handful of fighters could manage to get up from...Foreman would walk over both Klits, Shavers would walk through Wlad and give Vitali the fight of his life....

If Lyle had just taken a knee or had gone down he would have continued...He got KOed by Lynn around the same time Cooney got him, and we know he was so far over the hill he was under it by then...I still don't see where you guys figure he had a glass jaw...

lyle wasnt way past his prime and even if he was lynn ball was 6' and lost every fight after that
