That's why I don't like to talk fantasy matches with boxing fans(yeah I'm a boxer before being a fan).

The way they overrate boxing legends is ridiculous.

Face it,Lewis is FASTER than Louis, way taller, heavier, has more skills and more power.
Lewis get koed twice, but a roided McCall hits harder than a 185 pounds Max Schmelling.

Do you think the guys Louis was beating are beasts like Bowe,Tua,Tucker or Holyfield??NO!!!

How do you figure Lennox Lewis was faster and had more skills than Louis?

But Joe was exposed in the first fight as one-dimensionnal.
      Anyway,Louis was a great puncher.

Yeah,I think Joe fought in a weak era,ala Klitschko, but at least,Joe managed to get koed only once.
      LOL
Most of Joe's opponents were horrible or old.

You say Louis fought in a weak era, besides Ali how many era's do you figure were better?

        Tunney,Dempsey,Fitzi era.

        Holyfield,Bowe,Lewis,Tyson era.

        Peterson,Liston era.

Joe's era was weak, like Holmes was...and many others.

          Watchin tapes of both.

Watch Louis fights in real motion(it's even slower sometimes).

Lewis was throwin fast bombs in his prime.

Also,Lewis had better ring skills, fought every styles, and not only slow one dimensionnal white cats.

The Patterson/Liston era was not stronger, neither was the Dempsey era. O'd like to hear your logic behind these picks.

If you were watching tapes of both and believe LL was faster and more skilled than Louis, lol, you have no idea what you're talking about.

If you have boxed before like you claim, you should have no trouble in determining that Louis's technical skills surpass Lewis's technical skills.

And that is a damning stat.

                  For the record:

Ali - Ali by UD or TKO.
                  Foreman - Foreman by KO
Liston - Pick Em. Favouring Liston
Lewis - Pick Em, favouring Louis. (Power v bad chin, but works either way)
Frazier - Pick Em. Joe has a better chin. Someone's getting sparked.
Tyson - Tyson sparks him, early.
                  Johnson - Louis
                  Tunney - Louis
                  Dempsey - Louis

Everything above 50 is in Louis's favour

                    Muhammad Ali - 50/50
                    George Foreman - 70/30
                    Sonny Liston - 60/40
                    Lennox Lewis - 70/30
                    Joe Frazier - 50/50
                    Mike Tyson - 50/50
                    Jack Johnson - 60/40
                    Gene Tunney - 60/40
                    Jack Dempsey - 60/40

Louis set of HW opponents were very weak, But he does have the record in longevity. You can also see what set him apart for his time. He had lots of heart and short snappy (proper) punches. Back then everybody was still winding up to get power.

I think most greats that came after probably would have his number though. With the exception of possibly Marciano, had they fought in their primes.
