  • We all know Tiger Flowers beat an older version of Greb twice, and thats very impressive. But for all the high praise he is receiving as an all time middleweight, and the fact that his resume is being touted as the reason, I am wondering who ya'll feel are his next few best scalps at 160 lbs that we use to rate him so highly?

I think the two wins over Greb are sufficient if we're comparing him to Golovkin. We could take a page from Z's book and call the Wlker robbery a win if we really need to reach that far, but we dont.

Not comparing to Golovkin, just in general trying to find what else he has done at 160lbs to earn such high praise about his resume from so many.

Isn't beating Greb twice and fighting Walker on even terms at the very least enough? I'd have to dig further into his specific middleweight wins to be more detailed, but being able to hang with those two guy is a pretty big indicator in my opinion. I'll look deeper into it though.

Johnny Wilson was also a good win.

No, its a great accomplishment. I am not arguing against it, he clearly was a great fighter.

Just wondering what else he did at MW to earn such high regards, I mean people are citing MW resume I'd imagine there is minimum amount of depth you'd want within that resume to earn a high rating. Nobody is ranking SRL on their MW list and he beat Hagler (a version of Hagler that was probably on par with the version of Greb that Flowers beat). I imagine they don't rank SRL as a middleweight because though he reached a tremendous high he doesn't have the depth of resume at MW to earn that ranking.

So what were Flowers' other victories at 160 that solidify him at that weight?

How many HOF fighters did Golovkin beat in his career? I see zero possibilities on his resume. Could i be wrong? Absolutely. But i can guarantee he hasnt beat as many as Flowers. Flowers had the better career, its as simple as that.

Use whatever reason you have left. It's hard to tell because you hide behind double standards, don't follow your own reasoning ( Like with the onus is on the champion to give a re-match ... except when it's Lennox Lewis.) But when Vitali is in the mix, the onus is on him.

Anyone can beat anyone in professional boxing if 2 pro's go at it, but I'd give 25-1 that GGG beats many of the fighters Flowers lost or drew with. I know you would pick GGG too. So shut your pie hole unless you disagree with that.

Like I said GGG just retired and will be in the HOF. I say his first year of eligibility will be the leading vote receiver for his class that year. Care to wager me, cowboy?

I don't know how many HOF victories GGG has. Ask me that question in 15 - 20 years.

Simply stated your greteet some of the famous Eastern Euro fighters with antipathy. Like I said, you're hating teeth showing. And you tend to argue over foolish stuff. But hey it is a free country and folks can spend the time like they want to.

You may have taken too many blows to the head. I am serious. Now fighting at 40 is not advisable and 50+ is insane.Yet you said you did exactly that here. You are crazy like Oliver McCall. He was/is sitll fighting.

Lmao.....you really are a clown!!! Show me a SINGLE post where I've claimed the onus is on the champion to seek a rematch. I've always maintained its on the loser. The winner has no reason to chase a rematch, THEY WON!!

Who he may or may not beat is irrelevant and unprovoked. But the FACT remains he didn't fight the same level of competition

Why would I wager with you? I'll be rooting for him to get in first off. And second, we all know you don't honor your wagers. Remember when you said Holmes was kicked out of Ali's camp and you welched on that?

GGG was a wonderful fighter, and close to top 10 in my opinion. You're the one trying to recklessly put him in the top 10 over Flowers who simply had the better wins in his career. If you want to bet something we can bet nobody Golovking won against gets in the HOF. it's a perfect bet for you because you can wait forever hoping one does. Flowers on the other hand....his resume is littered with HOF fighters. Am I wrong?
