Its funny, if there is an historic archetype for middleweight its the iron jawed slugger who relies on his ability to punch more than his defense and slickness. Graziano, Ketchell, Lamotta, Tiger, Jackson, even Zale, Pavlik, and Steele kind of fit within this mold. GGG fits within it too. He is on par with most of those guys, some may be a little ahead, some a little behind, but as a tough punching machine he fits the MW mold to a tee.

You don't think Haglers path of destruction equals Golovkin? And i don't think Golovkin was a better boxer, though he did have great skills. Robinson has to rank ahead of Golovking just on who he beat, but i don't rate him as high at middle as many others.

A mod here actually started a thread about you arguing incessantly with another poster. Think about that. Embarrassing.
One of whom has now popped up on ESB and is dredging my old posts from here and putting them up there and arguing with them there! lol
I have plenty of time on my hands because I have been retired for 20 years. Have you made any threads that do not include insults yet Freddie? My last threads that have been running for more than a day.
This one =103 comments .Vitali=57.Canelo=22 Canelo=4 Fitzsimmons=26.
Several of the older ones were just photos I posted for interest. I'm sure we all look forward to your future contributions!Last edited by Bronson66; Yesterday, 06:29 AM.

Stop talking about other websites here. No one cares. Only 3 posters were at odds with you? I think you are selling yourself short.

I have been through every stage around here. That is why I am on my 5th or 6th name. Some of the others were better handles. Jaded, I think, said I could have Slugfester back, but I never saw any action. I guess I would have to re-register under that name again, since it is long gone from my computer. I might take the name back, but I can easily see Mr Mitts am the best of them. He learned--render unto Cesar what is Cesar's, the rest is yours.
Some chiding is a social constant, it happens all the time and is a sign of health.
If a fight is what someone wants they can make it here all the time. If they want reasonable discussion, that is available too, usually intermixed (poetic: immixed). You can be cats and dogs sometimes but sometimes only. Don't stay that way.
I did not want to leave without affirming Brawny's curmudgeon status. But that calls for publishing an highly edited explanatory expansion of the common definition. Found on Wikihow.
Traditionally, curmudgeons are grumpy old people, but there’s a bit more to them than that! Curmudgeons are often stalwart voices of reason, and great role models that know how to stick to their values. What’s more, anyone can be one—you don’t have to be old or have a certain look.!

Below 160? Really? Too many to name but Thomas Hearns with better power and more skills. Roberto Duran, Arguello, I can go on and on.
Better question is, what elite fighters did Golovkin ever stop or knock out? I can name plenty of middleweights that accomplished that. Can you for Golovkin?Last edited by joseph5620; Yesterday, 07:39 AM.
