I didn't forget him. Vit fans like to conveniently ignore this but rag Lewis for winning and than retiring. Just happened to come across it and found it hysterical as I hadn't read this article before.

That's sad, losing effort against LL going out ain't bad. Lennox didn't age out. Or at least I mean he retired on top. That's the wrong spin on that situation. I don't think it was a bad loss. One of them he showed a good showing against a great fighter before his own reign ... not bad imo. It's a positive loss that's my spin!

It's definitely a positive loss and a great effort. My point is the klit lovers trying to denigrate Lewis for retiring without rematching when Vits did the same exact thing, but never even fought Rahman. And the WBC letting him get away with it and declaring him "champion emeritus " is the icing on the cake. If Lewis ducked a Vits rematch, that Vits ducked Rahman...plain and simple. They can pick their poison, but they can't have it both ways.

If this is only half true, these K-guys need to give it a rest. The only thing this guy is champion of is ducking.

But I see it says Boxing Scene. Is this some guy like us, doing amatuer research, or is this confirmed?

If it is all true it is quite sad.

I recall all of those bits and pieces. Some pretty clearly. What a rotton era.
I've great respect for Vitali Klitschko as an athlete and Patriot. However; in case anyone should be unclear; Vitali was an excellent heavyweight, while Lennox was a great one. These are not the same thing. Good find.

It is all true it is quite sad.

I remember Vits rescheduling a few of time for Rahman. I don't remember the particulars personally. This wasn't just a fan writing a post, it was an article on this site. Don't know if that makes it better, but there it is. The fact is though, and I have looked it up, is Vits kept putting Rahman off. Funny thing is I don't doubt he would of won. But the Lewis haters like to say he ducked a rematch. If that's true.......than tell me about Rahman? I like the Klitschko's....I can't stand their fans.
