How old was he in the last film he fought in?

    107?

He would have been carried out in a coffin in the first round of the second Creed match.

As for Drago - words fail me.
Great entertainment though. Great soundtrack! Inspired many a kid to get fit and go out for a run rather than another sticky bun!

Such a great film. He goes "i don't think he likes me " and pesci goes "so what, no one likes you, you oughta be used to that by now."
Or when he accuses his rival of shagging his wife and his paranoia notes ai. I thought it was so funny that film.
But where do you guys rank Lamotta? Had been managed right could he have being an ATG?
Was he over rated? What did the mob do to his chances?
Jake LaMotta was a tough, relentless fighter, but his career was impacted by his emotional instability and the mob's interference, particularly with the Billy Fox fight. Had he been managed better, he likely could have achieved greater success and possibly reached ATG status. While his toughness and career were impressive, his flaws, both in the ring and outside of it, prevented him from being among the absolute best. His legacy is a mix of potential unfulfilled and the mark the mob left on his career, but he remains a memorable figure in boxing history.

The original Rocky was a great movie. I don't know if I'd consider it a boxing movie, its more a story about these noticeably flawed people during 70s America, and how an extraordinary bit of luck changed their lives. They tried to replicate it in Rocky II but couldnt, so just decided to make fun superhero movies for 3 & 4- nothing wrong with that.

I imagine some boxing fans would say that there are no good boxing movies because they are so knowledgeable about boxing, that they see all the Hollywood flaws related to the sport itself. But this is the case for anyone who is an expert. I once chatted up an elevator inspector who came to my work, dude was REALLY into elevators, he went on about how he and his wife would mock action movies while in theaters when they had elevator crashes- "that would never happen", he'd deride.

Sometimes, we need to have a temporary suspension of disbelief for technical aspect or things of that nature, to be able to enjoy a film. Or in the cases of Rockys 3 & 4, treat them more like action/super hero flicks.

Rocky was a great film. One of the top boxing films made.

It would be better remembered, i.e. respected today, had there never been a sequel

But then we wouldve lost the Cold War. Soviets saw that even with steroids that they couldnt overcome American grit and determination. Then, when Rocky offered the olive branch- "if I can change, you can change, everyone can change..." well it was over.

You can argue about Glasnost and Perestroika, about Reagan calling on Gorbachev to 'tear down that wall', of the work of Walesa and those who resisted behind the Iron Curtain. But we all know the real reason we have freedom today.

                    Never saw that.

A little bit true a little be Trump.

Of course it was a hundred different things that brought it down.
