    Prime Joe wins. Now if they fought right now Carl would probably win. Even though Joe retired undefeated.

    I think Carl had a better career. Yes, he was outboxed by Taylor in that fight but his comeback win was awesome. I remember watching that fight live. Still can't believe Taylor didn't take the knee or hold.

    Carl's worst lost was to Ward and i think Ward is better than Joe.

    They both would lose to Andre Ward right now.

        Hey retard, let me spell it out for you so even a brain dead fool like you can potentially understand;

        You said; "Froch was a journeyman in the making, easily outboxed even coming up, so when Super Joe conquered the US to retire, Froch was the only one wanting the fight."

        Easily outboxed even coming up BY WHO? Can you answer that question, or not?

            I do think Ward edges both of them stylistically. He was just so technically sound and knew how to adapt mid-fight. Still, would’ve loved to see a prime Calzaghe vs prime Ward would’ve been a real chess match.

While I doubt this fight actually happens I'd be rooting for Carl. If it does happen, how do you think it would go with both being out of the ring so long? 11 years for Froch, 17 for Calzaghe.

              How is Froch willing to take on anyone when he is one record ducking triple G ?

                You mean after Froch had been retired and Golovkins team wanted him to fight at a catch weight? Yeah right!!

                  GGG had been calling out 154-168 for a long time, still when Froch was active. It would have been a career high payday with HBO involved. GGG never did catchweights his whole career those are made up lies by Froch years after the fact.

                    Golovkin is a hero of mine & he beat Canelo twice.

                    No-one here said he ever fought at a catchweight during his career.

                    The fact is that Golovkin's team did attempt to bring Froch out of retirement with a suggestion that he fight Golovkin at 166 lb, it's pretty well documented.

                      Made up lies? Ok, prove it. Froch retired in 2014. How many times had Golovkin fought at 168 up until that point? I'll answer for you.....zero. how many contenders did he ever beat at 168? Zero. You saying Froch ducked Golovkin at a weight GGG never fought at and while being retired is tantamount to saying Golovkin ducked Ward. It's just ridiculous.
