Until I were to see Beterbiev have success I'll say at Crusierweight by today's standard since Quarry was around the 200lb mark I've got no reason to pick Beterbeiv to win that fight.

If Beterbeiv were to move up to 200 lbs and dominate or even win vs some top contenders then the debate could be had but until then there isn't.
What do you think of today's cruisers?

Quarry would be too big but Beterbiev is a better fighter.

You could argue that today's light heavies (with modern weigh in rules) are just as big as all the truly great heavies pre-Liston.

Marciano for exanple I would say was no bigger than the two B's are.

        - - I'd pick Beter over versions of Liston that fought Ali. The first fight had Sonny training on whiskey.

2nd fight was a colossal three stooges farce starring future HOFers Ali, Walcott, and Nat

I was told he got all agro and verbally abusive with yet another regular poster, so I'm guessing that would be why he got his plug pulled. Whatever. I'll have to ignore whatever new account he comes back under: He can keep his forum drama.

Why would he bother taking this into consideration and the fact Quarry weighed in same day? It makes to much sense. He's not really the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree.

I would suspect so. He hasnt been under the 175 limit since then. In less than 24hrs i put on 10lbs for my last fight and I wasn't doing nearly the cut these guys do. I would say high 180's to low 190's with the time they have between weigh in and fight.

That's why I initially used this argument when Queenie said Beterbiev would stop Patterson. Maybe he would, we'll never know. But there is so much more to take into consideration than just what you think may happen. I think I may hit the lottery one day. It's certainly possible.

I think Beter is good enough to make it a fight and essentially, in a much more diluted form lol, I agree with Mitts. It would be hard for Beter to catch Jerry with something "show stopping."
