        Thanks mate.

We all learn from the good posters in here, shame it's not what it used to be. We've all been around the block, we've all been following boxing for decades, and studied the history of the sport before our time ad nauseum, but we still can learn more. I've learnt a thing or two that I didn't know about Sam Langford over the years from your posts.

The Hardcore Four of the super flyweight division:
          Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez
          Juan Francisco Estrada
          Srisaket Sor Rungvisai
          Carlos Cuadras

A classic any time any two of those guys got into the ring together.

Norton never fought Frazier. Thread makes me wonder how that would have turned out. Nice spar on youtube.

I tried to find a good one for more modern heavyweights, the best I could do was: Ali, Shavers, Norton, Holmes.

Was hoping to do better with one with Foreman & Frazier in the mix, but couldn't find it. Also, I like the original four kings better because with them (Hearns, Hagler, SRL, Duran) they all have wins and they all have losses against each other. Whereas Holmes went undefeated against the other three fighters in my heavyweight example.

                  Its pushing it but:
                  1. De La Hoya Trinidad Quartey and Fernando Vargas maybe?
                  2. Jones, Nun, Toney, McCallum?

                  3. Of course we have Marquese, Barrara, Morales and Pacman.

Thats the thing with heavy weights and why this was such a stand out time in the division. It is very rare to find a stacked division.

Quartey and Trinidad missed one another. To bad, i always thought that would have been a great fight.

I believe McCallum and Nunn mkssed each other as well but im not crystal on that withough checking.
