A few years back someone on this forum said this, but I want to repeat it.

Why was the man answering his own phone?

Especially if he had it connected to a pseudonym?

Holyfield I will have to grudgingly say but I hated Evander for beating up Tyson. I have always wished for his demise since that fight. A cruiserweight great nevertheless

I can only assume that his main man called in sick, so Holyfield had to take over the phone line for the day. Nash out

on his best night Toney is p4p better imo

even the night he lost to Jones, if you shut the commentating off you realize Toney is just gassed and Jones is just doing stuff to sell the fight to the judges. Toney was making Jones miss almost everything. I think its the hardest style for Toney if you run from him like Jones did (took 2 minutes off each round) but still, always factor in that Jones was in far superior condition than Toney.
Just pure and utter nonsense here, really.

Talent wise it’s probably Toney but I would say that’s arguable between the two.
Evander Holyfield is definitely more talented, one of the most gifted boxers to ever live imo. A great puncher who could brawl on the inside along with great grappling, but he also had great legs to use movement to outbox taller opponents on the outside. Very coachable, and then there's all the physical attributes like an ATG chin, ATG heart, speed, athleticsm, solid power, ATG cardio etc. On top of that he came from a lower weight class and never lost the skinny legs, but it never held him back in one of the strongest HW era's ever with big quality HW's.

Toney was very talented and gifted too but not like this on so many levels.

Wouldn’t disagree with anything you’ve said there.

In other words, you can’t defend your absurd, nonsense position.

                  Fair enough.

But yeah, once Tyson started getting up to 240 on a 5'10/5'11 frame, something was off.

                    So did Lance Armstrong
Exactly. And Armstrong was later caught and admitted it. Coincidentally what Armstrong did to avoid a positive drug test with the blood doping was also called cycling. That's also what Evander probably did. It doesn't bother me though like it does other people. And yes, I agree Holyfiend better career and resume.

Yep. It's like I mentioned before. Mention James Toney's name 1 time and like Candyman divided by 5, it will summon Iron Dan .
