He vacated. Froch then fought Jean Pascal for the vacant WBC.

Calzaghe fought someone else I can’t remember.

Probably would have had to been Hopkins whe he moved up in weight.

I worked as Head corner when a friend of mine fought Mesi. Mesi could fight...............Rockin'

Boxing is so dead in America that they are flocking to UK these days thanks to AJ boosting UK boxing. Heavys were flocking to Kbros Germany for good paydays.

It's like you so dead upstairs, you weren't even born yesterday.

Not at that time. Carl was very unknown and didn't sell much of anything. Froch became a big name once Hearn started pushing him in Sky.

I'm not going to pretend I remember the goings on and popularity of fighters in Great Britain at that specific time. My point is Calzaghe fought much lesser fighters in skill and I'm sure popularity during his tenure. They should have fought instead of Manfredo.

Froch was unknown at the time that is true but at the end of the day he was the WBC mandatory.

Calzaghe fought countless unranked, unknown opponents during that time so the excuse doesn’t wash,

                    - - Still unwashed over SuperJoe coming to America to clean out their Ring Champ and #5 rated former champ is it?

Been an era ago since you became unwashed. Have you no decency for the greater public scent
