Boxing is so dead in America that they are flocking to UK these days thanks to AJ boosting UK boxing. Heavys were flocking to Kbros Germany for good paydays.

It's like you so dead upstairs, you weren't even born yesterday.
The USA has the most amount of world champions of any country. Facts only.

You’re entitled to care about whoever you like but Floyd is certainly noteworthy. He holds the all-time highest win total among champions who retired undefeated and untied. And of course his career was quite significant and important.

Joe Calzaghe has a poor resume but is consistently ranked as the #1 or #2 super middleweight ever. I thought he was a good fighter but wish he had come over to the US earlier.

Hopkins he arguably lost and Lacy is garbage so there’s that aswell.

How he was inducted into the HOF I really don’t know but it happens.
He also beat someone named Roy Jones. And some guy name Eubank. Those guys were pretty good.

Although not a great fighter, Terry Marsh had an interesting life. Fought in the army. Undefeated as a pro, won the IBF title at 140 in 1987. He had to retire due to developing epilepsy, got into a feud with Frank Warren and shot him (though found not guilty) later became a fireman, tried to become a politician, then became a stockbroker.

Calzaghe fought countless unranked, unknown opponents during that time so the excuse doesn’t wash,
So Calzaghe should've fought Froch instead of Hopkins?

Not really. On name value only. Neither in the Top 5, Eubank unranked and Roy Jones in the bottom end of the Top 10 (For what reason I still don't know)

Eubank was unranked and hadn't beaten a ranked oppoent in half a decade and Roy Jones was shot to pieces and hadn't won a legitimate fight against a ranked fighter in about a decade.

                No.

I never said he ducked Froch (he didn't) I was responding to the idea that he wasn't worthy of the fight.

Well who should he have fought at 168 or while he was active at 175? Names please. You are acting like he fought nobody. Not buying it. I think you just don't like him. Who was in the top 5 @ 168 from 1993 - 2007? I betcha he fought a few of them.

                    - - Roy #5 LH when SuperJoe shredded him.

U at the bottom end sitting on U stool.

Eubank was unranked because he was training for a cruiser fight that got cancelled, thus tapped the still raw Calzaghe.

In his entire stay at 168 he fought two people ranked in the Top 5 - Kessler and Lacy.

During his short stay at 175 he fought one person ranked in the Top 5 - Hopkins.

For a grand total of 3.
