An open question I beleive. A few more good heavyweight opponents.

        - - Better heavy record than Field whose Post 190lb record is 26-10-2 with less than a 3rd of that total KOs.

Bitter are the herbs from that garden.

Lol, but look who he fought in comparison. 3 top 10 all time greats and something like 17 past, present or future title holders. That amongst a litany of other top 10 contenders. That's like trying to say Canelo who cherry picks most of his fights is a greater middleweight than Harry Greb because Greb had more losses.

Ike was a legitimate pressure fighter who could hit, with a chin to match. Its hard not to think the world of him frankly. I mean he had the perfect size and build for a pressure fighter, and the acumen to match. Against Usyk, the question would be how much Usyk really learned from fighting Chisora. Chisora had a similar approach but Ike was so much better. I think he beats Usyk.

He would be tough for any modern heavyweight. I don't think he would beat everyone, but he would be in the running. Stylistically Hollyfield is probably the worse style for Ike. Holly could find the holes in a pressure guy coming forward with accurate punches. If Holly boxed, he would win. Fury probably is good enough to handle Ike as well.

Ike went to prison but he did beat a puncher in Tua going toe to toe with him and a tricky southpaw in Byrd at their best versions! Then he went to prison. Oh what could have been. But despite few fights he was tested.

                  - - You conflating busted up Field 26-10-2 record to near immaculate Greb using Canelo...priceless of course.

                    - - Pay little attention to boxing attention hoes looking to muddy already muddy waters, nor clearly concussed post fight comments by fighters. I look at results that are usually irrefutable. AJ stamina never failed him...end of, period.
