Usyk via SD to UD. Usyk is hard to tag, has the stamina to box and move well all night without resting on the ropes and can take a heck of a shot.

I don't disagree with this, but Ike's sized coupled with his work rate are something Usyk hasn't encountered at heavyweight. But I to still think Usyk would win. He is a very slippery and skillful fighter.

Post Tua, probably not. Pre Tua, I think Ike stops him. He was much more than a crude slugger and I doubt AJ has the stamina to stay the entire fight.

Ike beats Joshua in my opinion. Joshua seems mentally fragile to me. I saw Ike walk to David Tua and trade with him for 12 brutal rounds and got the better of it. I can't see Joshua surviving that.

I'll have a better idea after this weekend about Joyce. Competitive fight but I would give the edge to Ike by decision.


I think Fury would beat Ike with a clear decision. Fury's jab would be the biggest factor.


I think Wilder loses early rounds but eventually catches Ike and stops him. I can't see Ike going 12 without getting caught by Wilder's explosive right hand.


I think Usyk-Ike would be a competitive but I give the edge to Usyk by decision. I think Usyk's angles and defense would be a factor.

What is your take on Ike vs Usyk?

Great question and matchup. Usyk is about the same sized southpaw as Chris Byrd but about 25lbs more dense naturally. Both used angles and could rumble inside off the ropes when pressed. I think Usyk has a more precise punching power though not a big hitter. I see him finding ways to complicate the match for Ibeabuchi and stealing his share of rounds despite Ike's pressing attack. The big question for me is would Usyk complicate things enough to take the edge off Ike's pressure in the later rounds, It would come down to being able to get Ibeabuchi's respect with his sharpness; keeping him honest. Not sure.

The term he's underrated is tossed around but in Usyk case he really is.

Ruined him how? He KO'd his next three opponents including Byrd and never fought again due to prison.
