When I started commenting on boxing forums 25 years ago, the typical bozo held that Ali had untouchable defense. Clearly his fight and cognitive decline at the end of career that continued dramatically until his enfeebled end prove otherwise.

And exactly who was it that slugged Katherine Hepburn? Not Bogart nor Tracy...they were gentlemen!

Nobody is untouchable,Ali's defence was his legs when they slowed down and his reflexes deteriorated he was caught quite a bit. Ali allowed sparring partners to whale away at him in the gym.His theory was theory was he conditioning himself to take punches, actually he was conditioning himself for future brain damage.
Now explain what Ali has to do with this thread?
Willow The Wisp has made a clever remark which, just like your comment has no relevance whatsoever to the thread,it's just there to show how your comment has **** all to do with anything, other than demonstrating once again your well documented antipathy to Ali?
Twenty five years of infantile trolling?
Perhaps a record for inducing ennui?

Grant was a major acid head back in the late 50s. Before the hippies even existed.

He once wrote an open letter to the tabloids announcing that LSD would change the nature of mankind.

But I didn't know he hit women. I thought that was Gagney and a g**** fruit.

Young ran like a cat with a hot poker up his hole. George BTFO of him, so credit to Young being a survivor. George was going for the KO in the last round because DKing told him he had to KO Jimmy if he wanted the Ali rematch, so again credit to Jimmy to suddenly turn and catch him coming in. Jimmy also paid for the sin of ropadoping Ali who had exclusive rights to ropadoping.

And of course Ali demonstrably indicated repeatedly he weren't ever gonna give George another fight, so in effect George was fighting for nothing at all, half the reason he retired.

I had Ali behind at the time of the stoppage ,but Lyle didn't beat him up that is nonsense.
I say get some help. Plenty beat up Ali who became a glutton for punishment. To put it in Vit perspective, Vit a PhD speaking at least 3 languages and perhaps Ukraine's most exalted politician and leader. Nobody ever beat up Vit though Lewie using dark arts and lose wrapping tape sliced him up purt fair.
