I always consider The Ring rankings the go-to rankings when I rank fighters wins. I’ve been doing so for 50+ years and they date back to double that time.
But that list of Vitali’s top 10 ranked opponents have to be the worst in history?
That really is truly a shockingly poor list of “top 10 ranked” wins.Comment

As far as debating goes I agree. That's just me though. I do not however think he is fair nor honest, and his posts in my opinion show this quite openly. I have no problem with differences of opinions. You and I have had plenty on this very topic, and we've agreed on plenty more. It is what it is.Comment

Really, Jackson does not appear where in the 1957 annual ring rankings. Where are you getting this data?
The Ring Magazine's Annual Ratings: 1957
As selected by The Ring magazine in the February 1958 issue.

On that list I count 7 contenders, who were world ranked when Patterson beat them. Isn't that what Dr. Z's original challenge was about... the number of men, and not the number of wins?
Look, I want to see Z proven wrong as much as you do (well, probably not quite as much!) - but can't we at least play fair, and do it the right way?
