Ah is there a migration going on? He is in the hall of fame and time ballot guy that lead his class in votes. I'd say that is great. You can't get any bigger honor in boxing. But he's no Greg Page!

The HOF means less than nothing tho. Ray Mancini and Virgil Hill are in the hall and they sure ain't ATG's.

What has Greg Page got to do with this?

It's a popularity contest, imo, nothing wrong with it but not to be taken seriously.

Head to head,a tough proposition for anyone, imo But a cherry picker.too much dross on his resume ,and too many names that were ranked when he was, not on it

I agree that Hill is borderline to make the hall of fame and Mancini shouldn't be in it. But neither man was a 1st ballot guy, let alone lead their hall of fame class in votes as Vitali did!

There is a difference in the silly stuff us boxing guys talk about. As of Greg Page you'll have to ask John Thomas what that is about.

We disagree of course. It is the mecca of boxing. The singular center of our sport. The networks, fighters, promotors, IBRO and what remains of the BWAA, BWC are with me on that. Now, the selection to enshrine? Absolutely understand that we have big common ground there. Another day for that.

yeah his resume isn't amazing, I think he beats a lot of fighters though. I'll say this as well, Vitali certainly doesn't looked juiced like many guys today do. Canelo is a straight roid head I'm not sure how he even passes drug tests. he's 100% on gear

You can admire Vitali as a boxer, but even more as a person.
He, and Wlad with their financial resources, could have fled Ukraine and lived the good life elsewhere.

But they’re still there, in Kiev, under bombardment. Not abandoning their compatriots.

The epithet “A Real Man” might be old-fashioned, but it suits both Vitali and Wlad.
