Some who've actually seen em' are calling Tyson Fury the best ever.

A retired and reanimated Klitschko. Not the reigning and active champion that Fury dethroned much earlier. I'll say this though. When Joshua got off the deck to pull the fight out in that one, many were convinced that he was on the path to greatness, myself among them. And then, the rest of his career happened. Today his legacy seems half way between Larry Holmes and ....Michael Grant.
You with a fetish for blatant duckers and quackers getting beat up for peanuts resulting in lifelong brain damage, you being "virtual" masochistic I'd say.Comment

Bob Sheridan is no boxing historian. His knowledge of the sport technically is very limited. He is a boxing ringside announcer.Comment

What I find interesting is the concept of knowingly jumping the gun. The Modern era holds only two examples (Marciano and Fury) of heavyweight champions who have never tasted defeat. The file on Marciano is forever sealed. We can speculate that he could have been beaten, or that it was possible to defeat him somehow, given his cuts, knockdowns, close calls, etc, but those theories will never advance beyond Speculative. Fury is a different bird. He might lose yet. If he retired tomorrow it would be for him as it is for Marciano....strictly somebody's opinion that that it is possible to defeat him; and like Marciano they would find fault with his gross body of work, with, in both cases some degree of validity. I'd love to see Fury finish up with a flourish by taking out Usyk, Joyce and Joshua. I see Wilder on the verge of capturing another alphabelt, freed up by being stripped off of someone for mandatory defense non-compliance, but I've seen enough Fury-Wilder action, good as it's been. Doing more labor to assert his dominance of the era it the better way for Fury to cement his legacy, as it carries greater risk. Let Marciano keep the perfect record alone, as that's his most prized possession.
We all know Wilder can’t fight his way out of a paper bag. Huge right hand puncher yes but do was Shavers and nobody holds Earnie in that high of esteem.
Let Fury beat Usyk, he won’t, and then beat AJ and a few other top rated contenders. Then let’s talk. To me Fury is a huge but overweight heavyweight with an awkward, near comical, style.
