Wilder versus Marciano who wins?

So I can't tell here. Are most of you guys actually picking Marciano here? I think I'd go with him to avoid Wilder's dangerous right hand and even if he gets caught, would get up off the canvas, continue fighting to either win a decision or a late stoppage.

Previously list as 6-4 by boxrec, he been downgraded to 6-0, but clearly taller than that looking as his tallish bride for her day. I mention such because it back when we had Carmine as the biggest fighter Rocky beat because of his awkward height, and Vingo was a KO monster to boot.

Look at the size of those hands, a big man's hands.

As a side note, Carmine seems to have recovered from what appeared to be permanent infirmity to live a long, healthy, normal life, passing age 85 long forgotten by boxing...

This match up has some very intriguing elements... it would be nice to get some response along the lines of such elements: For one thing, Wilder weighed in for the hellanius fight at 214 pounds. The size queens have been told and it is confirmed that the average size for a punching heavyweight remains fairly constant. Wilder is at his best at his lightest... That is a fact because Wilder needs his foot speed and the extra weight does not help his punch.

Marciano never came into the ring with an advantage in reach... Lol. So Wilder's reach becomes less of an advantage. Also let us consider how Marciano stated (when narrating his fight) that maintaining a crouch at all times was important... We can deduce that Marciano would not be an easy target. Finally, while it seems absurd to put Marciano against gigantic heavyweights (seems so to some), there is no really absurd weight advantage for Wilder in this bout. it is exxagerated but, there is some truth to the fact that Marciano at least occasionally fought as the lighter guy.

Styles make fights. Wilder gets away using a relatively modern style of fighting, one also used by David Haye and Martinez: he stays away, far away, then ambushes his opponent. He gets away with this because there are no real pressure fighting heavyweights these days, with perhaps the exception of Chisora... but none as great as Marciano. Fighters today also make so many mistakes... helenius lunged and was wide open for the counter...

Marciano would not allow Wilder to fight in the ambush style in which Wilder likes to fight... he would pressure Wilder consistently. Marciano would be in a crouch and not be in a position to be hit like with no guard up, like so many of these fighters today.

I think Wilder has a suspect chin when its hit, which unfortunately has not been tested vs. ring magazine raked opponents in the prime asside from Fury who knocked him out twice. Carefully cherry picking by him and his manger prevented this from happing further but when he fought old man Ortiz have was nearly stopped he was listed at age 39...they say over 40. Wilder was down was a no name too.Wilder has those pin like legs and those types , even Hearns and Arguello great thin legged fighters who do not have good chins.

If Wilder fights say Ruiz jr and gets Ko'd I am confident in my pick of Rocky. As of right now , I side with Rocky via KO who definitely hits harder the those who knocked Wilder out and buzzed him.

Why is he a thug? He fights for his daughter, after hw knocked out Helenius he went to his room to console him. That was very classy.

He was brought up slow so he could learn because of his lack of amateur experience.

The two worst things he's done in boxing is say he "wants to catch a body" before fighting Breazeale, and I chalk that up to trying to promote himself, and that ****** "Boommmbbb Squuuaaaaddd!" yelling he would do on the way to the ring. Annoying as hell, but neither make him a thug.

Wilder has made some ****** statements,I don't think he was first in the queue when brains were handed out,but he appears to be a loving Father and I'm not aware of any thuggish behaviour on his part.
