I decided not to bring anyone up who’s still active today.
1. Archie Moore vs. Roy Jones Jr. - This would be at LHW of course, and Archie would be 38, right after he became champion against Joey Maxim. I like the dynamic here. Moore’s ring generalship and experience vs Jones’ superhuman levels of talent and athleticism. One had to climb his way through the ranks, denied a chance at the title for years before he finally got his shot past his prime. The other was on a quick path to super stardom since the Olympics. A very interesting matchup
2. Manny Pacquiao vs. Salvador Sanchez - If I had to pick the best version of Pacquiao to beat Sanchez, it would be the one who avenged his loss against Marquez at Super Featherweight.
3. Joe Frazier vs. Evander Holyfield - This one came from badlefthook (https://www.badlefthook.com/2020/4/2...s-dream-fights). Both of these guys go hard. We’d be in for a real treat.Comment

Duran would have schooled Golovkin in a bad way the same night.
what on GGGs resume says he would flatten an undefeated Mugubi?Comment

Which means absolutely nothing. Hagler was a small middleweight so nothing new here. He was barely bigger than Duran. All you have to do is watch them fight and you can see Hagler is by far the more skillful and better trained fighter.Comment

- - Seen more skillful and better trained fighters all my life getting upset by sluggers with Golovkin being the most premiere modern slugger.Comment

The James Hard Rock Green fight after taking a thumb in the eye Mugabi wanted to quit that night. His corner Duff and Francis persuaded him to continue.
Mugabi lost to Duane Thomas on another thumb in the eye injury ,after which he went on a winning spree, winning his next11 fights by stoppage/
Yeah Hagler ruined Mugabi ,that's why he went on to win the light middleweight title afterwards! lol
When Mugabi was stopped against Hagler he had been fighting with an injured right hand from the 6th round onwards his hand was very swollen after the fight
What on Mugabi's resume says he beats Golovkin?
Mugabi got $320,00 for the Hagler fight in a few weeks he had spent it all.Last edited by Ivich; 08-10-2022, 02:20 AM.Comment
