    Your Top Three Mythical Matchups

One unrelated question first: Is MATCHUP one word or two, and if one word when in the context of boxing, why can I not write it that way on this forum?

Only three matchups, lads. Sure, it is hard. Do it anyway.

    1 Hagler/Monzon

    2 Robinson/winner of Hagler/Monzon

    3 Louis/Dempsey

        Graziano-Greb
        Dempsey-Wills
        Pep-Mayweather Jr.

I don't care about style or technique, I'll embrace the mayhem while it lasts. Likely Greb but Graziano's right hand could be dangerous for anyone who comes straight at him. (Wish to God we knew how the 'human windmill' actually fought.)

This issue should have been settled, so lets do it now. Dempsey in two rounds with both fighters pulling themselves off the canvas.

Now for style and technique, let's find out if Floyd is as good as 50-0 says he is. Two masters of footwork and positioning, they will frustrate the hell out of each other. Pep by SD because I'm old and I want it that way.

Greb/Graziano is a weird choice. Basiio and Basora, anyone? Hagler and Hank?

Luther McCarty vs Jack Johnson had a verbal agreement only needing the jurisdictional Judge handling the JJ criminal case granting his blessing.

What weight will Pep fight Mayweather at? Or are we assuming Mayweather could make 126 (he probably could have).

Not that you asked but . . .

Duran bullies Mayweather; SRR v SRL might end up looking the damn Benitez fight, with neither fighter wanting to move forward; first three rounds are all Tyson's, if Marciano is still there in the fourth Tyson has a big problem and might succumb. That fight I would love to be ringside for.

Yea I was thinking about that after I posted.

Since the whole thing is mythical, it needs to be Mayweather early in his career when he was a Jr. LW but somehow have the experience of the Mayweather who fought Canelo.

It really kind of doesn't work, does it?
