Tyson Fury never looked better. Though “Boxing math” is an unreliable approach to fight prognostication, it's increasingly safe to say that given the sheer ease at which the capable (if heretofore overrated) Dillian Whye was handled Saturday, any version of popular UK rival Anthony Joshua would have fared not much better, against the skyrocketing Gypsy King. Regardless of what transpires for him against the early 1970's sized Oleksander Usyk, we should still hope to see a reduced value clash of two of Great Britain’s greatest big men of the Queensbury era. And who knows? Maybe the once thought to be great A.J. will produce enough push-back in that (still) historic clash to warrant what his promoters had flippantly regarded as an “interim fight”, against Ultimate destroyer American Champion Deontay Wilder in a fight that he (Joshua) has less chance at winning than he would one against Fury; and that would settle the transatlantic question that America would pay great attention to, given the Joshua team's flippancy.

As for Whyte? He is precisely what I've been posting he was. Very Good contender. Danger Man. Not in the same class as Fury, Wilder or Joshua. Just not..Obviously

Dillian Whyte top 10 is beyond ridiculous brother. Ridiculous. The man has never even won a European title and you have him above former World title holders. He’s 1-1 in British title fights for Christs sake.

You're right. His loss last week was career defining. He drops down around Big Baby Miller now. That's what happens when you're given your big chance, made big money and FAIL BIG. The odds for this fight didn't favor the Body Snatcher, but they didn't tip off how poorly he did either!!!

Hard to take these lists seriously; one guy says you can't use the 'see method' (whatever that means) you have to go with resume - go with resume and the next guy screams 'weakest era ever'- but that's OK because another guy says the 'triangular method' is flawed.

Then they use all three when it fits their agenda.

Hard to take these lists seriously can't figure why posters bother to create them except to strut their susposed superior opinion and disrespect others. Whole thing comes across quite silly.

Be like U was born yesterday and have no nursery/grade school education.
And besides Fury likely being on peds, Wlad was 40 years old and clearly past it as seen in his previous fight against Jennings where he looked washed up. The version of Wlad that fought Fury was very far from ‘very good’.

Vlad always was a semi-bum who only had size to his advantage. Then other galoots came along and spoilt his edge.

                - - To be fair, the Ks were effectively blacklisted as far as most of American heavyweight boxing media was then.

Jennings was his return to America now without Manny. Jennings undefeated and very quick and spoiling in his style, and the ref wouldn't allow holding that Wlad had become dependent on. I thought it a serviceable win at a floydy level that fans always complained about, but, yeah, easy to see how a young Fury equally disparaged by establishment boxing was in the perfect moment in time as happens in most overthrows of great champions.

Fury's Fig Leaf melted, and so here we are today with two champs not even in the same orbit with one of them fighting a real war, a sad statement of boxing and world affairs.

Sorry wasn't directed at anyone in particular. Really!

But I do think the arguments that these lists cause to break out are silly. There is this bizarre temperament where some posters think their opinion (and lists) are somehow 'right' and other opinions 'wrong.'

It come across silly to me. But it was not directed at your post in particular, I could have replied to a half dozen different posts (everyday.) This just happen to be the moment I decided to b itch. Sorry.

The feint would keep Vlad off balance for most of the fight.
                    You make some good points.
