Why was Ali's return from exile that much more successful than Tysons?

So if those words weren't what you meant, what was the point of them? Did it change the fact Ali won unanimously?Comment

Landry never goes that far outside the box. Hayes actually came through the football system not out of track & field. Landry did show long term vision with Staubach, that he gets kudos for, but Wilt is too far outside for a guy driven by numbers and strategies.
Now Al Davis, he's your guy. Drafts a punter in the first round (Ray Guy) and buys BO as a partime running back.
He's the guy who would take a shot at Wilt at TE.
P.S. Why do you think the years are off? Wilt came up into the NBA just as Landry was building the Cowboys. I would say the timing was just right.
Ex, Hershel Walker the only Cowboy exempt from pre and post season training, reason being Hershel was a one off phenom with his own extensive workout program more strenuous than that of the Cowboys. Landry was the intellect Wilt needed for the respect to undergo tutoring to become a tight end. He'd have been the biggest, tallest, and fastest tight end in football, but eventually Wilt developed knee problems playing basketball, so likely they'd have been exaggerated playing football.
Boxing save for misapplied running programs doesn't have to worry about knee problems, and at any rate, Wilt was like Herschel in always being in shape, so all he really needed was tutoring by Cus on the specific style and traits of Ali for one fight. It's debatable he would've even defended the title since boxing is so halfassed organized with not enough money to interest him in the long term when he had guaranteed million buck contracts to dominate his NBA inferiors.Comment
