Though of those 3, Toney is my personal favorite.
A solid top 3 but I'd have taken Toney to beat Hopkins.

I would be rooting for Toney to pull that off if that fight ever happened.

You only say this Mike as I always pick you out as a terrible poster, a bum, and a disloyal Pacquiao fan. And you just sit there with a bitter face as Nash cleans up on all the Awards and nominations on this site. At one point in time, I, if nothing else, respected that you were a true fan of Pac, and then, the Breland in you came out, the day after Pac got beat by Ugas, you removed his pic as your Avatar to replace it with what you have now. Normally, that would be fine, but the day after the fight! You wanted to disassociate yourself from Pac's loss. Pac visited me and a dream to tell me he'd never forgive your disloyalty. Nash out.

Without having checked, I'd guess that Golovkin has beaten more top 10 MW fighters than any other since Hagler.

I recall reading somewhere about Hopkins running out of a press conference when Toney came in?

I was a big Toney fan until - probably from lgt-hvy upwards - he was messing with steroids.

This is probably true, as his rankings in that Ring Magazine top 100 showed.

Though one could argue his era was not as strong as an earlier era.

Really? How could they argue that?

I blocked Nash. Everything that sub-human piece of detritus posts is utterly cringe worthy

Listing bigger names from previous years, or fighters they like or don't like from either generation.

I am not writing that one generation is better than another, just that an argument could be made as such. And that being the case, you could argue that not all top 10 wins are equal.
