losin a decision 7-5 does not equal getting schooled for 12 rounds. Hes my favorite fighter and i believe he is the best at 147, but yes some people do overrate him, just like people do with a lot of fighters. I think he can be an atg, but he is certainly no lock to be one. And he has to find fighters willing to fight him.
I voted oscar floyd. Oscar/forbes was too onesided for me, and i thought it was pretty repetitive from round to round. Oscar/floyd was a tense and technically fought boxing match. I enjoyed it much more than other people seemed to have enjoyed
damn some floyd stan actually went through the trouble of creating another screen name just to post that and add another vote..:nonono:
or it could be that this is my first post on this forum. Im not real familiar with the rules around here. I didnt know liking the oscar/floyd fight automatically made me a "floyd stan." Maybe one day ill take a break from working and fucking my girl to get up 7,000 posts like you.
but didnt cotto start in the low 100s in the amateurs? i remember him fighting calderon. (anyone know how old he was back then?)
He did fight calderon in the amateurs, But cotto was only 10, and calderon was 17 and they were the same size lol. Calderons tiny.
Damn, u guys have met a lot of people. The only "famous" fighter i ever met was a guy named Kevin Hudson. He lives in the same town as me and was a kickboxing world champ in the mid 90's. Met him at the grocery store where i worked. Cool guy. His little brother, shannon, is also a kickboxer and a pro boxer also and i think his record is 4-1 or something like that. Both good guys who give alot to the community.
