Vitali will punish Rahman and will not be careless enough to stand still while his opponent is swinging for his life. Many trips to the canvas for Rahman and an early night for Vitali.
Did it ever occur to you that his slide in the later rounds was a direct result of his injury? Just because he didn't play it up and wince every time he had to lift his arms doesn't mean it wasn't serious.
he must really need the money. however, he still has a big punch and with the state of todays heavyweight division he could quite easily win a world title
Yeah, It's pretty well known that he absolutely needs money.
Personally I think he could do very well in the heavyweight scene of today, but there is no way he is getting past Vitali. After going back and watching about 10 of his early fights around the time he took the Belt originally, it is apparent that he no longer has the movement required of a smaller guy to get inside. He simply tries to walk through punches and while he has a decent beard, it's not enough.
both klitkchos are a joke stamina will prove to be its worst enemy fight night rahman by ko.
Rahman has been KO'd by three different opponents, while VK has never been KO'd and maintains one of the highest KO ratings.
Who is the joke?
VK by KO, Round 6
Corrie planted Rahman on his ass, and although VK got his bell rung because Corrie always swings for the fence he stayed up.
BTW Lennox habitually roots against VK so you can't really trust his opinion.
This kind of stuff is a tragedy just waiting to happen. I remember a fight a few years go when a woman fought a slug of a man and won. This guy was pathetic in most every way when looking at a fighter.
Plain and simple, women should not box men. The natural strength difference is just too much. Yeah, she might get by this slug (assuming they will match her the same way as the other woman) but what happens if she gets real HYPE from this fight and people actually start believing that woman can compete with men on an even level in the fight game. Sometime in the future one woman will get this hype and be matched with a real male fighter, it could be tragic. All of this non sense will only stop when a woman is beaten to death by a man.
These kind of promotions are only going to damage boxings already flawed public perception. To me it was bad enough that butterbean became a main event attraction. Now they have basically amatuer women competing on television as professionals. It reminds me of an undercard bout on a card that i fought on in Lansing. Jeff "the belly" somethin'. This guy was pittyfull and got dropped quickly. How low can we go.
Like I said this is trouble brewing. Will it take the death of a woman before these promotors come to their senses. I hope not..........Rockin'
Seconded, save this type of shit for Celebrity Boxing - thx.
As much respect as I have for Tyson, and as much as I want him to start rolling through opponenets again, it just isn't going to happen. It would take a miracle for him to be World Champion again. It would be the only thing to happen in the history of boxing that would be more famous than his previous, infamous meteoric rise and fall. It would be the Death and Return of Superman...but just as fictional.
VK could not K.O. Lewis.
Rahman did.
Rahman couldn't beat Lewis on the scorecard.
VK was, and probably would have KO'd Lewis had he not suffered that cut.
If PBF doesn't stay elusive and tries to roll off the bombs Tszu drops I could see it ending in Tszu's favor. PBF has got the speed to dance around anyone though.
I watched the fucking fight. That's what makes me say that. Would of gone maybe all 12 rounds. But not ko.
Yeah, makes perfect sense. I totally see it now, my bad.
I laugh when I hear the bullshit that is frequently posed on this forum. Anne Wolf is not your average women; she has the musculature of a male athlete as well as authentic one punch KO power. I have seen her fight and she is probably the most dangerous female boxer alive today. If a male boxer, even a top one, took her right hand to the jaw he would get dropped, possibly KO'ed. I'm not saying she'll win this fight because I don't know how well she will take a man's punch but I am confident her explosive right hand could put anyone down at her size, regardless of their gender. The armchair warriors on this forum would be in for a rude awakening if they were to actually get into the ring with her, even just to spar.
Sorry guys, I know it's difficult to believe, but there are some women out there that would kick the crap out of the average guy posting on an internet forum.
Huh? I'm not propsing I'd have a better chance in the ring with Bernard Hopkins than Anne Wolf, I'm just saying she (as well of any of you that buy the hype) is delusional if she thinks she can hang with top Male Boxers. If Hopkins let me have a free shot I have a great chance of knocking him out...chances are once we get in the ring I'm gonna be punching lots of air though. Your point is irrelevant, in other words.
nah i dont think VK would of KO'd LL
What makes you say that, the fact that he has won all but one fight by way of KO? The fact that Lennox has proved on multiple occasions that he is entirely stoppable?
Yeah, uncalled for - they should have jumped in and stopped it. No use getting beat retarded and/or getting kicked out of school because of some petty squabble.
Sorry, Billy BadAss, but I just don't see the point in risking causing permanent damage AFTER the fight had clearly been won. You can bet if you KO'd me and the worst I got from it was a hurt jaw that would be the end of it. If i wake up in the hospital with a fractured skull, blood clotting in my brain and reduced motor skills because you had a field day with my face while I was snoozing then I might have to recruit some help for Round 2.
I dont know what Gazbo said, but shit that fight was ruthless.
Should always take a fight to the grass, too. Don't want your noggin bouncing off the pavement.
I'm sure both deals were being pursued and it was as easy as a phone call to set up the Morales match as soon as JMM demanded more of the purse.
What does it matter anyways?
Rahman is viewed as a Wildcard that fluked into a title position. He'll put up more of a fight than Danny did, but I think we all know what the outcome will be.
We'll all be watching just in case there is a flash KO though.
