Why does everyone say that Levi judge is Mexican? It says he is from NEW MEXICO. He is AMERICAN. And as far as his last name, he could be South American.
The posters on here obviously didn't read. He asked if in the future he'll be an ATG. I believe 10 years from now, when he's 33-34 years old, sure he can if he wins the majority of those fights against top competition. 10 years equals what? At least 20 more fights? Imagine who he'll fight in those.
Because Golovkin will fight one or both of them. Cotto needs to retire as much as James Toney. Who cares about the countries boxing rivalry. I would take a lot of Joy watching two fighters I don't really like, Alvarez and Cotto, Getting Beaten and Battered by Golovkin.
This world doesn't revolve around you bruh.
As far as the original post,
Cotto vs Canelo most likely will happen in November I would think. Maybe next May. Aside from a fight with Pacquiao or Mayweather it makes the most business sense.
I can't even defend this fight man.
Maybe it's fixed and Algieri is going to win and become the face of Top Rank idk.
Or Pacquiao is fighting Mayweather in May and we're all gonna forget about this
And in all those gifs you posted???they got their ass kicked..sure you might out think him once but you will not land that punch again
He mentioned that. Did you read?
"Now of course, both Zab and Mosley and Corley went on to lose their fights because of Mayweather's adaptability "
Great post OP. This thread should be shown to these "world class" trainers lol
Canelo lacked the mental toughness and aggressiveness to take the fight to Floyd. I was afraid this would be the case from the get go. Floyd seemed very tentative the first three rounds not sure what to expect from Canelo. I have never seen him react so much to feints ect.....but once he saw that Canelo was going to try to just out box him and not use the weight to try to push him around ....it was over. Watching the fight I was just shocked. He had Floyd against the ropes several times but never got physical or anything. If you let Floyd get comfortable it is over.
From Dan Rafael:
"Contracts are filed w/ NSAC. Canelo making $5M on fight night, but it's misleading. Guaranteed WAY more from PPV. I'm told $12M.
Danny Garcia's is making a career-high $1.5M, Matthysse a career-high $800K. Ishe Smith $250k, Carlos Molina $100K."
Floyd vs Pacquiao will happen. Too much money at stake. The buildup and everything else will be bigger than the Canelo fight. And Oscar fight. It will happen I'm sure
What will it take for Floyd and Manny fans to get along?
I'd say they would have to fight first. Maybe Pacquiao wins by knockout in a grueling boxing match and ends it in the 11th round. Then they get a rematch and this time floyd wins this grueling match with a knockout in the 11th round. They would both then be even.
That's the only way I can think of lol
To me Your opinion lost all credibility with your last last sentence . Latinos and Mexicans come in all races. With that way of thinking I guess Marcos Maidana is to Asian to be Argentinian . :pat:
I think he was being sarcastic lol
Lara could have easily won this fight if he was more aggressive. The times he spent on his bike could have been spent by hurting Canelo. He could have done it. Like others have said he only has himself to blame.
Rooting for Bam Bam on this one. Should be interesting to see which Pacquiao we'll see on November 24th. Regardless, I think this will be an exciting fight, non stop action. Rios is a tough kid and can see him going to distance with Pacquiao. I predict a knockout (by either or) no earlier than the 10th round. This won't go to decision. Imo.
Smh at Mayweather. This is why when he retires people won't give him credit for anything. I give him credit.
And he's making 32 million dollars AT LEAST, for this fight. For 32 million I'd fight with those big ol kids gloves, "Socker Bopper" I think they're called. I'd fight with those against someone who chooses to fight bare knuckle. For 32 MILL. Jesus, Floyd is a bi..h.
Paulie didn't arguably beat Broner. Foh...
A reasonable, unbiased, person could make an argument that Paulie did beat Broner. Wasn't it a split decision? One judge could make the argument.
Therefore one could say Paulie arguably beat Broner.
That is all. lol
This was a tweet by Floyd back in May 29. "I chose my opponent for September 14th and it's Canelo Alvarez. I'm giving the fans what they want. It will be at the MGM Grand."
And I remember in interviews leading up to the fight he kept saying "I'm giving the fans what they want"
Why not Pacquiao this time? The fans want Pacquiao!
