Brook is a euro level bum.
His career has been a joke so far, lucky to be mentioned in the same breadth as khan,or thurman, or a lot of boxers.
Khan was at about 80% in terms of preparation, was caught surprised by an algieri boxing out his skin and. ....still won.
That's pedigree and experience for you , given those factors brook would have lost.
Watch this to understand brook.
https://youtu.be/W_eBYcMSXBE
So you're still mentioning Khan to keep Brook's lottery ticket relevant I see.
The bigger joke is still Brook no matter how you spin it. Look at him, he's fighting Vargas who finally made a name by beating Sadam Ali. What if Vargas lost, or won in a boring UD? Brook would have had no dance partner to speak of. Who ducked who? Garcia or Brook? Why was Brook vs Garcia never negotiated?
Brook Garcia wasn't seriously negotiated because Hearn really and truly knows Brook isn't worth the outlay, aj is his main man and Brook is a total fool for not seeing this.
Since Khan brings nothing to the table versus Brook, and hasn't earnt his shot against Brook he should remain in the states and fight for the WBC where he is mandatory :)
If Brook is a nonentity like you say how come he holds a belt at 147 and is unbeaten?
If my memory is not mistaken Khan has been down more often than a 20 Dollar whore
Ummm because he has fought one live pulse in his long undistinguished career, and holds a belt who Hearn himself has said he values less than the khan fight. That's why he is an unbeaten non entity.
Wanting to prove you're the best in your country is a bad thing? If Brook is such a bum why doesn't Khan take the money and take his belt?
Are we going to pretend it's down to Khan willing to turn down a big pay day just so Brook doesn't get one?
I am getting fed up enough of trying to explain simple things to you, I think it's perfectly reasonable for Khan to be fed up of brooks desperation from the last 5 years, take our dialogue as an example, you simply will not comprehend anything from Khan's pov
Then kell like a moron crassly tweets out when khan is down. . I can fully understand khan thinking nah screw this clown.
As I said, Brook loses and khan happy with that outcome, your own doing.
No wants to fight him anyway
He doesn't want anyone except khan, and hasn't done his whole career. There are interviews going back 4 or 5 years where he is calling Khan out,it's his career goal.
Don't let this being a world champion talk fool you with brook, Hearn values khan more than a world title and he has said so in interviews.
Boxing would be better IN GENERAL if fans would demand more from their favorite fighter instead of making excuse for them. Expectation and standards need to be higher and it shouldn't be about keeping your guy undefeated or maintaining a perception or image so that you can brag about them on a Boxing forum :lol1:
But when you got the Hearn / Brook brigade who lived off one sloppy Brook win that was a mandatory challenge for a title with questionable value what can you do with these fanboys?
Based off this one win Brook is the best WW yet hasn't fought any of the best wws.
Khan to my memory has never pushed for a rubbish fight.
Brook/Hearn fans are the first to attempt to trash Khan's achievements yet are the most desperate for the fight.
Please explain this cluster fcuk thinking, don't get mad these are the facts.
Frankie really doesn't like Floyd wow.
I am not a fan of Floyd the person but I don't need to be, he was a tremendous boxer and ak can't be too upset about Floyd not fighting him, that's the position Floyd is in.
Khan isnt in the top 6
Entertaining gatekeeper and nothing more
Should retire but needs at least 6 months off before facing a can then a fringe prospect
If still up for it, he will get knocked out by anyone in the top 5 after that
He's done and everyone knew it years ago
Whatever makes you feel better son.
So called irrelevant people shouldn't be worth your effort, somehow khan always is, wonder why.
It seems like most of the Brook hate comes from his own country. Khan seems to be the fighter most Englishmen love. Why? Brook is a much better fighter. He is the one who has never lost a fight and is a current world champion. He is also a nicer, more humble and likeable person than big mouth, disrespectful, arrogant bragger Khan who said Mayweather, Bradley and Pacquiao are all scared to death of fighting him.
Brook is a nonentity, Khan was a teenage olympian when British sport wasn't great, he added a big thrust to boxing and has had a high profile since then.
Khan wants the big fights. I freely admit he doesn't always do it right or smartly, but it's not malicious it's just desire manifested unintelligently.
He does far more for charity than Brook does, and face to face no one has a bad word about him.
Brook is probably okay too.
He's still number one and would beat everybody at 147 with no problem. Damn I don't understand why everybody hating on Brook.
He has been a coward unwilling to take risks and has hinged his whole career on getting a payday from khan, therfore only worthy of contempt and ridicule as things stand.
Much respect to Khan for his Philanthropy work but IGNORANT on your part to water it down by trying to make it some type of competition :nonono:
I second this, no need to bring Floyd into this, great boxer but we all know he is crass as a person.
However for some people no matter what ak does they will always have set views...but clearly he doesn't do this for them.
Brook holds a belt and is fighting for another belt. Khan holds nothing and his claim to fame is getting sparked every time he stepped up.
Damn, the Algieri fight was made for him to look good. He went life or death in that fight.
Khan got put on the canvas by Superstars like Willie Limmond and Michael Gomez lol.
Get out of here with your BS
So what's stopping Brook from moving on, or what has stopped Brook the last 5 years?
He wants the payday durrrrre
What's stopping him from fighting golovkin dumbass?
Khan's POV? Nobody can see anything from his POV he's a delusional clown. Khan promised to fight Brook and then backed out of it. Brook has every right to shit on Khan at every opportunity.
Kool, dont expect a payday out of it, move on, dumbo.
The biggest proudest moment of brooks career is because of Amir khan, he literally cannot escape Khan's shadow. Khan motivated him to commit suicide, so sad.
Ggg has made legit middleweights utterly crumble and submit, the fight is a joke and Brook is a willing lamb to the slaughter deserves no support.
Just because kell Brook was not getting the khan fight does not mean he puts his career on hold, that's absurd.
Hearn loved to say how khan would get a career high pay day fighting Brook, what he didn't mention was Brook would multiply his career high by 10, it's always been about money and you are a fool if you think it's about the fans.
Khan haters are motivated by a special kind of hate.
I don't disagree about Brook eventually quitting on this feet like most Golovkin opponents. I think Golovkin is a highly skilled, gifted and dedicated fighter who is the best MW in the world. No question. But....the middleweight division stinks today.
So how does a career ww who has one quite good, not very good or amazing but quite good win at ww justify a fight against a MW beast.
It's so dumb.
Didn't Khan get KTFO'd by Garcia at 140? Hell yes, Canelo/Khan was a stupid fight at 155.
Brook on the other hand is undefeated, going up against a MW whom many people (at least around this place) think is hugely overrated because he hasn't faced anybody good. Brook could pull this off, especially if Golovkin is as unskilled as posters here say he is. On the other hand, everyone except fan boys knew chinny Khan was going to get put to sleep against Canelo.
You are proving your stupidity.
You accuse ggg of fighting no one but Brook is the guy with the rubbish cv, not ggg.
How on earth does a rubbish ww cv justify fighting the baddest mw around, this is a special k type of delusion.
Ggg is bringing legitimate mw to their knees.
A few body shots and Brook is begging to end it.
I'm translating from a non-boxing or sport related magazine, a memorial. It's so sweet.
"It was 70s, we were children of a Turkish family moved to Germany to make money. Life was hard. Once a week there would be Turkish radio broadcast and we used to wait for it to hear whats happening in our homeland. We used to wake up early to watch Ali's fight, our fathers sometimes would spend the night awake to watch Ali fight early in the morning and go to work dizzy having been awake all the night. They would talk about the fight when they come together at work.
My father was telling me that their chief/supervizor was mocking with him through Ali, the chief was a German. When Ali lost the first time against Frazier, it made all of us so saddened. After his loss the chief did mock with my father again. But then when Ali dropped Frazier my father went to the chief to talk about Ali's win, trying to say "Ali hit him and grounded him" starts to mimic with his fists and feet because his German was not sufficient. So, what happened is, my father says the chief knew what he meant but acted the fool and reported him to a higher manager saying that "This Turk threatened me, he says he will beat me". They fired my father. He came home with a bread in his hands at evening but he wasn't sorry, rather happy. He did lost his job because of Ali but his for love for him never decreased."
Great story.
I like Amir but lets not let any bias delude us here. The Canelo knockout wasn't without consequence. Khan lost stock in that fight because he was willing to be knocked out for a payday. That isn't the action of a high level performer.
Maybe we differ on perspective because I'm a fan of the sport first and foremost. Khan may have legitimate gripes (or not) with Brook and his team but the stance of refusing to fight his biggest rival in a fight that would be huge for British boxing is not justifiable by any measure.
Khan hardly made it easy for canelo, it was just too big a challenge to overcome, but he gave it his best shot.
There's a long history with brook being a constant irritant to Khan, the Hearn camp won't tell you this.
Just remember... Calling out your biggest domestic rival is one thing, but basing your whole career on one fight from atleast 5 years is another and imo that deserves no respect, it's literally a career strategy to just get one fight.
I have seen interviews from Brook from 3 or 4 years back where he literally says he doesn't want the money, just the fight...then when it came to negotiate he wouldn't accept a career high pay day, Hearn is running a scam with brooks career.
Finally brooks disrespect when khan was knocked out with the tweet was the final straw, no need for Khan to give him a payday.
same here, I feel he is an absolute dickhead for not thinking about the feelings of racially biased idiots on this forum. **** him!
What's race got to do with it? Even though my fellow keyboard warriors might take every opportunity we can to belittle everything he has done, analyse every sentence he says with laser like intensity (for years), refuses to give him any credit for anything really we definitely see past his race..... Cos he is such a meany!!
Wow a BBC radio special? :lol1: Jesus that exposure is real!
He was marketable. Problem is he hasn't been marketed at all in the UK, so he has almost no fans left. Nobody cares about him. He's known for getting brutally knocked out every time he steps up.
My point is its one more BBC 5live radio special than kell Brook in recent times ;)
And BBC don't have the Matchroom connection like sky do.
It's actually true, he was everywhere before, now he is not as big in the UK.kell clearly isn't a big draw.
Makes me wonder why Hearn reckons it does 80k in Wembley, if it's not Amir filling the stadium sure as hell ain't kell.
I think regular fights is more crucial than time with Virgil. He has been with Virgil almost 4 years but with regular fights, he would stay in the gym a lot more and have an extended period of sparring.
What really mystifies me is that a guy with world level experience and wins can have such serious lapses in concentration.
Canelo loss was kind of about concentration but lets be fair, canelo was attacking his body and it was just too much for Khan, canelo earnt it too.
People also forget the very personal trash talk angel Garcia threw Khan's way before fighting Danny, that got to Khan because he tried to knock DG out not box him.
Khan's natural instinct to fight, he can't help it.
No people are literally laughing at how much you love Khan's balls down your throat.
People? Lol
You mean the bunch of losers you bond with cos you all got psychological reasons about Amir Khan? Have fun mate haha.
The question remains for someone so irrelevant why he takes so much of your time up,how many posts have you written on him?
Calling out the biggest names and then getting KTFO by them.
What a legacy...
You are all over the place silly Billy.
We were talking about his choice of fights , but a hater is always gonna find a reason to hate.
Khan is clearly a bigger household name, it's not even a subject for debate.
These khan haters are so full of hate they can't concede anything and I mean anything to Khan in his favour.
