As Amir Khan is moving back to 147 how will he do against the top guys in the division?
My take is this: Brook, Thurman, Garcia, Porter and Spence knock him out. The only guy I would give him a chance against is Bradley because he can't punch.
Thoughts guys :boxing:
Did Khan have cyber sex with your mum over Skype or something?:lol1:..
do you post about any other boxers? or any other topic?
In the last 10 days you have made 10 threads about Khan. Every thread you have ever made is about Khan :lol1:.
You basically make the same threads over and over again with a different title. It's people like you who keep Khan relevant and popular, you talk about Khan fans but you are in essence the biggest Khan fan on here, just a reverse fan

Khan is the most over hyped boxer in the history of the sport and I like to point things out about the glass jawed wonder.
You are a deluded Khan nut hugger, so this is for you dude: :peeright:
Canelo loss was kind of about concentration but lets be fair, canelo was attacking his body and it was just too much for Khan, canelo earnt it too.
People also forget the very personal trash talk angel Garcia threw Khan's way before fighting Danny, that got to Khan because he tried to knock DG out not box him.
Khan's natural instinct to fight, he can't help it.
Canelos body attacks didn't seem to hurt or slow Khan down, I don't see what that had to do with the KO. What we all saw was Canelo feint with the left and throw a overhand right. Khan pushed his arms out in a weird move which he did repeatedly against Diaz and got caught with the same punch, it was just against someone who hit harder. That's a massive concentration issue.
Does he actually have a huge fanbase though?
His last fights in the UK didn't sell out and the main broadcasters like Sky don't even bother showing his fights anymore. Even his fight against Canelo gained almost no interest in the UK
Khan's fanbase is one of boxings biggest myths.
Half the reason Floyd didn't fight him is because they thought it'd be a Hatton situation bringing a huge fanbase to the table, and then they realised it's not the case at all.
100% true, unless you count 1 million young, flat ass broke, Pakistani males on twitter.
Not sure why anyone would want to fight in economically deprived Sheffield, it's grim up there and everyone is broke. I don't know what the American equivalent to Sheffield is.
I don't know, i was born and raised in the Middlesbrough area which makes Sheffield seem like paradise. Got the hell out of there though.

He has a decent size fanbase, was able to sell 3500 UK tickets for his fight against Canelo
So 3500 brits traveled to see him fight. He sold around 2500 for the rematch with Peterson, but those had to be refunded when the fight was cancelled
Very few British boxers can bring anything over 1000 people to Vegas.
Khans name rings bells with the casuals and he is 1 of 5 active British boxers who is known by the general public
In terms of his last fight, it was in Sheffield, it's a ****ty poor town, Brooks last fight didnt sell out neither - in the same town and thats his hometown
Khan is better off fighting in London and from what i am hearing, his next fight will be in London.

Khan still has one of the biggest names in the game and has a huge fan base behind him. he can do whatever he wants

I think regular fights is more crucial than time with Virgil. He has been with Virgil almost 4 years but with regular fights, he would stay in the gym a lot more and have an extended period of sparring.
What really mystifies me is that a guy with world level experience and wins can have such serious lapses in concentration.

Amir khan brings that walking over a tight rope feeling which is compelling for the viewer.
Unless he is hurt he is most likely doing well with superior speed and foot movement.
But as max kellerman says you always think the opponent has a chance even in the last 20 seconds of the fight.
Against canelo khan was up against a guy he can't really hurt due to size, the odds were tremendously stacked against him.
At ww the size issue will not be such a relevant factor, it's concentration.... The remedy to that is time with virgil and regular fights.

Porter can't punch either.
Thurman is completely untested and Spence is a prospect.
I think Brook can beat him and Bradleys activity may be too much. Khan beats everyone else until proven otherwise.

I feel for Khan. Dude did everything he said he would. He had an excellent game plan. Unfortunately his glass jaw is real.
He can do some serious damage at 147 if he avoids the bigger punchers. He is fun as **** to watch and his offense is really good. He is like a larger version of Pauly Malinaggi with a worse chin and a crisper punch. Dude fights like a champ until he gets K.O.'d. I don't understand the hate. I wish he would fight more often.
Personally I hope he retires to the slums of Pakistan and does humanitarian work.
He could open a specialist hospital unit for blunt trauma injuries...
I don't think the canelo fight hurts his stock at all. If anything, it grew his fanbase because people respect the courage of khan for stepping up to canelo and being competitive.
