Its well known that the people of Sheffield are pretty much the only people bothered about Brooks career but surely even they must be starting to get bored. Besides the mismatches and how slowly he's moving there's not a lot to get behind, his style? Its bit boring, Personality ?fairly dull, Doesnt bring much excitement , Nah it's mind boggling really that they go out. Without the promise of a big domestic fight with Amir Khan people might stop going. He probably should have cashed out with Khans 20/ offer.
But when you got the Hearn / Brook brigade who lived off one sloppy Brook win that was a mandatory challenge for a title with questionable value what can you do with these fanboys?
Based off this one win Brook is the best WW yet hasn't fought any of the best wws.
Khan to my memory has never pushed for a rubbish fight.
Brook/Hearn fans are the first to attempt to trash Khan's achievements yet are the most desperate for the fight.
Please explain this cluster fcuk thinking, don't get mad these are the facts.
Brook beat Porter in a close fight
Khan lost to Algieri in a close fight
Porter goes on to beat Broner
Algieri goes on to get blasted by Spence
Once again.....WHy don't you want to see Amir Khan and Kell Brook throw punches at each other??? Answer that<--- It's because you don't believe in Khan right???
lmao I don't know who flatline is but your hero is about to get a bad bad beating, should have took the L to rigo , wouldn't take too much damage
Bad beating from the guy who couldn't wobble Mares once and got put on his ass by a shot to **** Kiko??? Okay, don't come crying to me when " Leo started to late" or "was never any good to begin with" or whichever excuse is popular that day.
Boxing would be better IN GENERAL if fans would demand more from their favorite fighter instead of making excuse for them. Expectation and standards need to be higher and it shouldn't be about keeping your guy undefeated or maintaining a perception or image so that you can brag about them on a Boxing forum :lol1:

I'm laughing at expectation that Brook will go on to fight Thurman Garcia Spence in his next couple of fights, Hearn is still whoring out for the Khan fight even though the man was knocked senseless.
Most times all these potential matchups just remain fantasy fights. I could bet my car that none of these will happen. Brook will be back to chasing Khan, win or lose to Vargas.
Thurman vs Brook was hot back in mid 2015. Team Brook never made any move to make it happen. To be fair, neither team Thurman.
At least, One Time is getting more than $1 mil for fighting semi-retired opponents. Reports say he got a total of $2.7 mil in the Collazo fight, which was his last fight made in July 2015. Yes, July 2015 and look at the ample time that should have been used to make Brook vs Thurman. Point was, Thurman was very much available at that time.

When are the people of Bolton going to get bored of Khan getting knocked out all the time?

He's unifying titles soon with Varga, world champion vs world champion. After that he will have a mandatory defense against Spence. Those are two big fights in the space of a year.
If he wins both, he'll be ready for a mega fight with either Garcia or the Thurman-Porter winner.
Things are looking up for the Sheffield people, though I believe the rode will end with Spence.
The Spence fight won't happen, I know Hearn talks a good game but that fight won't happen expect Kell to move up. Vargas is an improvement for Brooks low standards but hardly the big summer fight Eddie was talking up.
Hey Flatline...Not get enough wank material out of the Boxtime alt??? How's Khan by the way??? Still picking up pieces of his chin??

Brook v Vargas is not a bad fight. Obviously Vargas is a paper champ and Brook is picking on the easiest of the titlists but it's a unification and means more than the entirety of Brooks career so you can't complain at this point.
