So, Ring Magazine has moved Amir Khan to #2 at Welterweight, despite only having fought in the division once since December 2014 in a very unimpressive closely fought contest over a guy who wasn't ranked in the top 15 - Chris Algieri.
Do you think it's fair that Khan - Who's WW wins count: Collazo, Alexander & Algieri - is rated above the likes of Thurman, Porter, Bradley, Spence and Garcia?
This has got to take the cake though.
Khan last fought against a non top 15 fighter in the division more than a year ago, looked like crap and somehow improved his position :lol1:
You'd be surprised.
But yeah this is a shining example.
It's obviously a ridiculous ranking.
But this just comes with rankings, check any ranking systems history it is littered with bizarre positions like this.

He done more than Spence though, but yeah I don't think he cracks top 5
Khan's ranking is bizarre. For months, TBRB ranked him over Brook. When questioned, Toledo said there was a lot of debate between a 12-round shutout over Alexander and a win over undefeated Porter, as to which was better. This is despite Porter already beating Alexander. TBRB has had some low points..
We had that same debate here. Obvious which one is better but Khanturds are so delusional they still want to debate it :lol1:
Khan shouldn't be in the top 5.
Thurman
Porter
Spence
Garcia
Brook
All ahead of him
And I think he'd lose to Vasquez ...
Khan hasn't won a fight that meant anything big in years...
He built quite a career for himself for someone who never wins the big fights...
This is pathetic and they should get called out on this. Golden Boy is trying hype up Khan to make Canelo look better. F*cking BS, there's Ring prestige for you.
1. Brook
2. Bradley
3. Thurman
4. Porter
5. Garcia
6. Spence
Khan has just been brutally knocked out, again, and hasn't done anything to be ranked in the top 5.

Very fair....especially how outboxed 180 lb's Canelo for 5 rounds
After Khan beats Garcia and becomes the WBC champ (the only belt that matters), he can face Manny Pac.
All the angry Khan haters are having a mental breakdown
You can't stop the rise of Lord Commander Khan Snow aka the Prince Who Was Promised
LOL, a prime example of a blind follower
the baby lil triple flop got his lil belt so why he still crying, he want CANELOLUJAH full undivided attention huh. poor lil fellow keeps begging for the top shelf items but no one respects him enough to give it to him so he settle fors scraps.
If GGG asked Canelo to bang Canelo's wife would Canelo agree to that as well?
God damn, not everyone is made of the same stuff and Canelo certainly won't be a Mexican legend acting like this, even JMM and Estrada are disgraced by him.
Khan isnt in the top 6
Entertaining gatekeeper and nothing more
Should retire but needs at least 6 months off before facing a can then a fringe prospect
If still up for it, he will get knocked out by anyone in the top 5 after that
He's done and everyone knew it years ago
Whatever makes you feel better son.
So called irrelevant people shouldn't be worth your effort, somehow khan always is, wonder why.
1. Brook

Well Khan is easily the most skilled WW along with Spence jr so yes he should be #2 even with a lacking WW resume. He was embarrassing a 180lber Alvarez before he got caught.
Canelo is so overrated even the smaller opponents he knocks out get ranked higher in their own divisions. I'm surprised Cotto wasn't ranked #1 at 154 after he went the distance with Canelo.
Ring magazine and GBP are a joke.
I like Khan, but he barely cracks the top 10. Way too much talent at 147 for Khan to be ranked that high.
